Date shown as 27 March and 'Auto' will not show correct date even after changing manually

Date Reading 27 March, An Easy Fix!

Not sure if you have solved this but if not.
Do the following using the remote controller:

FUNCTIONS\SET UP\Others\Clock\ENTER
If the date says 27/3 press ENTER again and the correct date will be displayed

I am not sure but I think this model has no DVB-T tuner. Since all analog TV sources are gone, there is no way it can set the current date automatically.
You should turn date to manual and set it properly.

unplug the clock radio from the power, take out the back up battery ( if it has one). let it set for 60 seconds or so, plug it back in, It should now be flashing 12:00 over and over. now reset the clock to the correct time and date.

i've got the same problem. looking arround the internet lots of people had the same thing last year & it corrected itself the next day. (2 march)

Incorrect date in DirecTV programming guide


on front of receiver, there is a door that you can open. behind the door there is a red reset button. press the red reset. this should fix the problem

Setting the date


What you have to do is go to the icon with the spanner (as shown above) and keep tabbing down. There are more options than just the ones you see in the screen (not just High Power , Auto, Set Tag, On), keep going down and it will show you the other options. You will see the date change icon about 7 or 8 down.
