Hello more than likely the lamp has gone bad. On that set you have to remove the back cover to check the lamp to see if it has broken. the picture gives you an idea and some instructions on how to change it. tks7bef3142-61c4-4329-b27d-2507769a830c.jpg

My tv is a mitsubishi model ws65511 our power went out when it come on tv wont work just flashes green reset wont help

thats caused by failed DM caps which discharge during power outage and then cannot be recharged when power is restored. the mitsubishi repair kit called the WS48511 - WS65511 DM repair kit available from www.tvrepairworld.com should solve the issue it has the replacement capacitors and the CD with repair instructions.

The picture of my Samsung DLP tv is getting darker. We have had several power outages over the past few days as a result of the hurricane. Do I need to make an adjustment?

Yes, or it can also be a burned fuse, you can take it to a service center and repair it yourself.
Or maybe the power outage just disconfigured the Tv try resetting it.

PHILIPS 50 Inch HD DLP Projection TV the picture went out suddenly and there is not sound but a loud humming-buzzing coming from the set...any ideas on what could be wrong or if it can be fixed?

It's the optical block (color wheel) and the same thing happenned to our Philips 50" DLP. From what I've read, it's not worth the trouble & $$ to fix. Dig a hole!

Had a power outage while watching tv. Then 3 blinking lights.

This is an on-going problem with DLP sets. Normally you shut the set off and the cooling fan cools the lamp down and then it shuts off. In your case, of which it's not your fault, however your lamp has taken a major hit by not properly cooling down, in turn, you need to replace your lamp at this time.
I suggest in the future if you have an electrical storm and a chance of a power outage while your watching tv, I would'nt play that model or any other model of a DLP set.
