Do I need the driver to get my window 7 connected to the printer?

The printer is Xerox Phaser 3121. I've surfed the internet and the information that I got so far is, window 7 does not need a driver to get connected to it...but when I tried to connect, it failed and said driver needed. I've also checked xerox website to find the driver. But there's no driver for window 7.

You can either use the printer's drivers from the CD that came with it, or you can download the driver off the internet. To do this, first, you will need to find out what model number and make your printer is. For example, if your printer is an HP 1422nf, the make is HP and the model number is 1422nf. Next, google for the maker's support page by searching "(The make of your printer) support". In this example, I would type "HP support". On the support page, follow the instructions which usually asks for your printer's model number and eventually leads to letting you download the drivers.

Where to find driver for HP Deskjet 6988 printer in Windows 7 ?

You'll find any available drivers for the HP Deskjet 6988 on the support page for the 6980 series printers: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-6980-printer-series/468002/model/3422864 .

The Windows 7 driver should be found by Windows Update when you connect the printer with a USB cable. If you are using the printer in a network, you need to manually add a printer (using the wizard) from the Printers and Devices Control Panel. Start this after you have the printer connected to your router or switch. See https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796879 and expand the section for Wireless or Wired Connection (Windows 7, Vista).

I hope this helps.

    Can't connect printer.

Hi, It seems that the you might have upgraded your computer to Windows 7 and you are not able to get your printer work. In this case you need to download printer's driver for the operating system that you are using that is Windows 7 64-bit. Download the driver from: http://www.epson.co.uk/Printers-and-All-In-Ones/Inkjet/Epson-Stylus-DX5000-all-in-one-printer/Drivers-Support
Once downloaded, install the printer using the new obtained driver. Hope the new driver would work on your computer. Moreover, you may change the USB port to which the printer is connected, meaning unplug the printer from the computer and re-connect it to different USB port of your computer and try to install printer.
    Cheers!

Need software to connect hp750 printer

Did you even try to just plug in the printer and turn it on, win 7 might just use a generic driver and it might work.

If you want the driver, you need to post the exact model number of the printer, 750 does not show as one of there printers.

    Is it an ij750.

Will HP Deskjet 722c work with Windows 7? There

If you are using a 32 bit version of Windows 7 you can add a driver using the following: go to the Devices and Printers folder, Add a printer, Local printer, LPT1: (or which ever parallel port the printer is connected to), select the Deskjet 720c driver. You may need to click on the Windows Update button if the driver does not show up initially in the list.

If you are using a 64 bit version of Windows 7 there is not a solution at this point, the supplied drivers have an issue.
