Question about Lexmark Office Equipment & Supplies

I have a Lexmark z2390 which just refuses to print the window comes up ready to start gets to 5% then stops and goes no further any ideas

    I an trying to do this I have uninstalled it but when I try to download it it keeps asking which programme I want to use to download ie:-internet explorer, itunes, realplayer, apple,microsoftetc and everyone I try wont do it now Im really stuck

Uninstall/Reinstall printer driver ..click here for lexmark download page ,select your operating system ..and click filer.From the recommended downloads click the first link ,and finaly click download ..save the file onto your computer.Run the installer .
If you have Windows Vista ..onto your PC ->click here to download print failure test,If only one page of the test document prints ,Download and run the patch that will set the security back to the normal settings -->click here to download patch

Compatible with windows 10?


Looks as though it may well be compatible as it mentions models around '7350'. Are you running it on Win8.1?

I have a lexmark z2390,when I press print on my computer the light comes on my printer but it does not work


A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Simply disconnect the printer from your computer. Reboot your pc. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it. When the printer turns on, reconnect it to your computer. Then try to print again once the computer fully recognizes the USB connection.



You may also try to update your printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/nmx0U9. Select your operating system, download and execute the file.

I have a Lexmark Z2390 inkjet printer and have just purchased new ink cartridges but do not know how to change them can you help ?


hello,here is how to replace or change ink cartridges: 1. make sure the printer is turned on. 2.lift the top cover or access door. sayurisan20_19.jpg
3.press down on the cartridge level to raise cartridge lid. sayurisan20_20.jpg

5.for new inks,remove the tape from the back and bottom of cartridge before you install it.DO NOT REMOVE NOR TOUCH THE COPPER CONTACTS OR NOZZLES ON THE CARTRIDGE. sayurisan20_23.jpg

you can align them to improve print quality by clicking on start,all programs or programs and then click on the lexmark folder,click maintenance,align cartridges,then print.

I have a Lexmark 5270 Printer and have downloaded the software onto my HP laptop. When I try and print a document the system says "printing started" but nothing ever prints. The document is held in...


Try this. Follow the instructions carefully.
First, you have to stop the Print Spooler. To do this:
1. Click on the Windows logo start button.
2. Go to Control Panel
3. Open Administrative Tools
4. Open Services
5. It will pop-up a Services window. Scroll through the list and look for Print Spooler.
6. Double-click on Print Spooler, and click on the Stop button. Click on Ok button. Set the window aside.
Second, you need to clear the print jobs in the Spool folder. To do this:
1. Click on the Windows logo start button.
2. Click on Run and type Spool. Hit Ok.
3. Open Printers folder
4. Delete all the files in the Printers folder. Close the window.
Third, you have to enable the Print Spooler. To do this:
1. Go back to Services window.
2. Double-click on Print Spooler, and click on the Start button. Click on Ok button. Close the Services window. Click on the Windows logo start button. Go to Control Panel and open Printers folder. Refresh the page. That should clear the print queue now. Try printing again. Hope this helps but if you need more assistance, leave a comment and I'll get back to it. Thanks.

Loading an ink cartridge


lift the panel and if you cant get to the ink catridges turn it on and they will move so you can accses them you need to change them with the printer on usually

a good idea will be to find a specialised support forum for your product

My colour cartridge ran out on my Z2390 and I replaced just the black cartridge now it wont print as it says I need to replace the color one


Lexmark used remote access to sort the problem. Although I altered the setting on the print page to black and white it was defaulting back to the original settings. They changed this through my computer and the print settings ans now all is ok.

Won't print


Try to restart the print spooler.

If your running on a windows envinronment.

1. Click Start > run > type in the box "services.msc" (withouth the qoutation marks) press the ok button.

2. Scroll down and look for print spooler and double click on it.

3. Stop the service and start the service

4. Restart computer

5. Try printing

- by the way from what application are you printing from? If the above doesnt work, try printing from a different application just to double check that its not the app's issue.

Lexmark X2350 printer problem


Usually the light blinks if you have started a print job and run out of paper...it's trying to get your attention to insert more paper before it can continue. Check and see whether there are any print jobs that weren't able to conclude and delete them. Go to 1) Start, 2) Control Panel, 3) Printers and Other Hardware, 4) View Installed Printers, 5) Lexmark 2300 Series. When you double click on the Lexmark Printer Symbol, it will open up a smaller window which will show you whether there are any print jobs that are waiting to print. If there are any, delete them. Hopefully this will solve your problem.

Ademently refuses to print


I'm assuming you have Windows XP, since you didn't say. Try this:

  1. From Control Panel > Printers - Remove ALL printers.
  2. Unplug USB port and reboot.
  3. Reinstall drivers and software.
  4. Plug USB cable back in.

After setting as default printer Lexmark X2250 just stopped printing and showing up in printer section


Uninstall the driver , and install again.
The problem will be resolved.

Uninstall the driver: Start\Control Panel\ Programs and Features\Remove all the lexmark items there.
