I have an hp pavilion g6-1b79dx notebook that will shut off if I do not keep it plugged to the charger. Is that a battery problem?

First, how long have you had the battery? If you look in the Taskbar Notification Area at the Power/Battery icon what does it read? Do you get a message before the shut-down? I would suspect you need to replace the battery, but to may a informed solution I need more info. Respond to this post for further assistance.

What shows that the handset needs recharging

On the handset of the Panasonic KX-TG5432, once you see the battery icon low (one bar) and flashing, it means you have to recharge it.

My printer will not turn on

First, try pressing and quickly releasing the Power button to start a Power On/Off cycle. Do not hold down the button. If this resolves the problem your done; if not continue on.

Inspect the power cord for visible damage; if damaged will need to contact HP to replace.

Disconnect the power supply (power module and cord) from the power source (wall socket) and the printer.

Test the power source, wall socket with or without your power bar or surge protector in place, with a small appliance you know works to confirm you have power. You may want to test the wall socket first and then test the power bar, etc. to make sure each component is not the problem.

If the appliance works then need to investigate the power supply. If the small appliance does not work you may need to check your electrical panel for a tripped breaker and possibly consult an electrician to check your electrical wiring.

To test the power supply plug in to the working power source; if the green light on the power supply does not light up you will need to contact HP to replace the power supply.

If the green light on the power supply lights up; reconnect to the printer.

Press and quickly release the Power button to turn the printer on. if the printer does not turn on you will need to check the USB cable.

Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.

Press the Power button to turn on the printer; if the printer turns on you will need to replace the USB cable.

If printer does not turn on, check the battery if your printer has one. A red light means the battery requires recharging; if it is still red after recharging, replace the battery.

If none of these steps resolve your issue before replacing the power supply try plugging the power supply directly in to a different working wall socket with no power bar or surge suppressor.; Press the power button.

If still no power to the printer you need to replace the power supply.

Sound comes and goes on my HP dv2000

Your sound is intergrated into the motherboard and it will not be a connection issue.
The problem in most cases is the drivers for your sound.
You can go to HP.com and download your drivers and re-install.
This should take care of your problem.

Printer will not charge camera batteries. camera screen said to go on line and look for m627-435

Did you go online and look up this troubleshooting tip from HP?  Did you make sure the batteries are rechargeable and in the correct orientation ( + and - )? Here is the results from looking up the error code M627-435 at the HP website:
Solution
  1. Ensure that the batteries are rechargeable. If the batteries are not rechargeable, replace them with rechargeable batteries.
  2. If the batteries are rechargeable, take them out and check for obvious physical damage. If the batteries are damaged, replace the batteries with rechargeable batteries in good physical condition.
  3. If the batteries are in good condition, charge the batteries using the external charger that shipped with the camera before using them in the camera for the first time.
  4. If you have tried each of the steps above and the status message still displays when you try to charge the batteries, replace the batteries.
Cause The Batteries cannot be charged status message is usually caused by one of the following:
  • When first connected to an optional HP AC power adapter or placed on an optional dock, the camera performs a test to determine if the batteries are rechargeable. If the test determines that the batteries are non-rechargeable, an status message displays in the LCD.
  • If the battery charge falls below 1.1 volts, the camera cannot detect that the batteries are rechargeable. The camera does not charge batteries below a 1.1-volt threshold to prevent charging non-rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries discharged below 1.1 volts can be charged in an external charger.
Apparently, your batteries are either seriously discharged where you need to use an external AC charger to recharge the batteries or their damagaed and need replacing. Hope this helps.
