Question about Samsung SGH-G600 Cellular Phone
Usually these problems only occur when the phone is substandard. regardless of you switching the phone off or not this is not a prerequisite to not come on. If you still have warranty on it return it.
Most times when this problem arises in phones it is because the phone was a refurbished one. Refurbished phones are phones which are made up of the scraps from other spoilt similar devices. It usually is a waste to try and fix these devices because you will end up spending more than the cost of replacing the device.
