Question about Computers & Internet
To resolve this, you can try disabling the hibernation mode by doing this few simple steps.
Change the power settings for XP:
- click START>CONTROL PANEL>POWER OPTIONS> A window will pop up. Go to HIBERNATION Tab and then uncheck it.
For Vista or Win7:
- click START>CONTROL PANEL>Select View by Large/Small icons on the upper right side> POWER OPTIONS> Select BALANCED> Click CHANGE PLAN SETTINGS> And then under PUT THE COMPUTER TO SLEEP, Select NEVER.
The steps are similar for Windows 7 so just use your judgement when navigating. Remember, there's always the BACK button or the CLOSE window if you're lost.
Hope this helps.
