Hi

Try to run SCAN DISC for automatically fixing errors.

Or try this solution

Go to START
Choose ACCESSORIES
Right click on DOS command prompt and choose RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR ( if ask for password put the password)
The type SFC /SCANNOW and press enter.

If does not help you, I suggest you reformat your operating system. But make sure you have the Hardware device installer CD, Operating system installer CD and a back up storage device to back up your files.

Here is on how to reinstall your operating system.

Please rate and make a comment if you find this solution very helpful and might help others as well. Post more comments if you need more help.

I have a toshiba satellite L645D how can I format it to the factory settings like it just came out of the box.

When your Toshiba Satellite laptop goes on the fritz, there are several instances where the best solution is to delete everything and start over. If your system frequently crashes or you can't remove a specific virus, you may want to restore the laptop back to original factory settings. While the easiest way to restore the system is to use the operating system restore disc, it is possible to restore the system without it. Each Satellite laptop also includes a hard drive recovery utility that lets you restore the operating system without the restore disc.

1.Take account of any files or programs you still want to use after the Toshiba laptop is restored back to its factory settings. Transfer the files to a backup location, such as a USB flash drive or external hard drive.

2.Restart the Toshiba Satellite laptop's operating system. Wait for the Toshiba logo to appear on the screen.

3.Press the key that brings up the hard drive disk utility menu. Depending on the specific model of your Toshiba Satellite laptop, the key will either be "0," "F1," or "F8."

4.Press "1" or click "Restore Original Factory Image." Click "Yes." Select "Next" to begin the restoration process.

5.Restart the Toshiba laptop computer when the restoration process finishes running. Follow the prompts that appear on the screen to set up the laptop's date, time and language settings.

6.Transfer the backup copies of the data you saved earlier back to the Toshiba's hard drive. Re-install any programs you need, such as your software firewall or anti-virus tool.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

Turn on wifi and toshiba satellite crashes.

It sounds like you have an issue with the Wireless driver on your system. If it is for the specific model you have listed here then please download and install the driver from the link below.

My Toshiba Satellite Laptop M105-s3004 Crash and fan not running

Because the fan doesn't work, your laptop is overheating and going into thermal shutdown. have the fan replaced and the area where it is screwed to cleaned as it harbours dust over time preventing adequate cooling.

Toshiba 135-S2246 processor damaged

Hi

First of All Usual meaning of crash related to Operating System which is Software. If you are talking about the Operating system Crash its not something to worry. Most effective way is to perform full system recovery by Using Toshiba Recovery and Applications DVD which comes together. When you put the disk in and restart by pressing F12 boot option will appear when you choose CD/DVD a menu will appear. With that menu you can perform windows system restore also Toshiba full system recovery (it will set everything to factory default).

Good Luck
