If you're using XP, try restarting the computer in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 while starting up before it goes to the windows login screen. Then login to the ADMINISTRATOR Account. Once logged in, go to the CONTROL PANEL> USER ACCOUNT and then just follow the steps to reset the password. Then restart it and you're done.

If you're using Windows 7 of Vista, use the PASSWORD RESET DISK to reset the password.
If you didn't create one, then there's nothing else to do but to reinstall the operating system. However, you can still copy and backup your files by taking out the hard drive and putting it to another computer that also uses NTFS filing system. Once connected, you'll be able to transfer your files from drive C to Z just like in normal operation.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Pls adv site for lan driver m200 toshiba satellite

There's more to the model number you'll need to know, check the bottom sticker. Should be something like Satellite M200-ST2001. Once you know that, go here:

http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp

On the main menu bar, click on Product Support, then narrow it down to your EXACT model. Hit Go. Click "Downloads" on the product page, then select your driver from the list -you may have to go through a page or two to find it.

While you're there, you may as well grab all the drivers and BIOS then back them up to a CD, you never know when you may need them.

Good luck!

I forget a bios password at laptop toshiba satellite 2430

I know some methods to reset bios password.

1. The best and easiest method: Close OS and shut down the electricity power of computer. Open your computer box, take out the cmos battery from the mainboard. Then the bios password will be reset to blank. Put it back after a few minutes.

2. Follow some tutorials. For example the tutorials:
Reset Toshiba Satellite BIOS Password

3. Use the bios password recovery tool , but that is not free!

So I would suggest you the 1st method. Hope it helps.

My media player does open and play in my Sattelite M200 laptop

You need to install the codecs,
visit www.free-codecs.com
and dowload from there, use the codec packs (xp codec pack or vista codec pack) I used both on my 2 laptops and they work fine.
