The failure of the illumination to only the stereo and heat control panel can be due to possible few reasons which you can check.
1. It can be due to failure of the connectors of the wiring harness to the stereo or panel. Use a multimeter to check the +B( 12V) as the park lamp is switched on. If absent there can be fault in the harness or the connectors.
2. Failure of the lamps in the panel- the LED's could have lost connection or failed. the Panel lamp could have failed in the holder or the lamp.
3. Finally there can be a faulty ground connection to the stereo or panel. tap to see if the lights come on.

Changed the heat and audio control on accord 05, since no heat goes to the feet. It has diff color illuminated lights so trying to figure out if it has anything to do with that.

yes i was referring to the heater control wires as hollow tubes would indicate a vacuum controlled control in which case a vacuum leak would cause the damper door to not operate properly in any case I think this may still be a problem check to see if there is any response when you switch between the different settings or if air only comes out in one place no matter what setting it is on. I guess I am not sure what the audio problem you are referring to is.

Radio,cd.clock lights will not illuminate

That is a problem with the 2003-2004 radios. There was a recall due to faulty circuitry. You may be able to have the unit repaired by Honda. I can also repair them if Honda does not. I am at www.autoclockrepair.com

Lights are dim in the clock and cd panel i can barely read the time.

This is so at day time.
Some cars have adjustable dasboard illumination.
Find that knob. Additional resitance buit up in the system can cause this as well , clean connectors, etc. Or you replaced a comonent with a wrong value.

Fuse 23 in the underhood fuse box, it is a red/green wire going to the combo switch, leaving the combo switch it changes to a red/black wire. All the illumination controlled by the combo sw. is a red/blk wire. Let me know if that helps, Honda Al

2002 Honda Accord EX V6 cruise control failure

http://www.handa-accessories.com/accord/accswc.jpg

So after you push the button and then press the set button in the steering wheel it does not get into cruise control ? It sounds like a minor electrical problem. If you have warranty still I think the dealership should fix it for free.

Sorry i have not been able to help you.
