It will NEVER keep time. You must re-enter the time, date each time you use it.

Set the clock

go to the screen where you would set the clock. touch the area for hours then below press the number which dictates what hour it is. do the same process for minutes.then you hold the check mark button for a couple of seconds. actually it wouldn't hurt to do that after setting the hour and minute..Also make sure you have all your wiring connected right. Cause the wire that operates the clock has voltage all the time this is what keeps the clock running you may want to check to make sure yours does not shut off with the key, Thank You Hope this helps

Wall Clock Won't Keep Time

Disconnect it. Plug it back in. Go to the office and tell the master clock to reset all the clocks. It sounds like it is searching for guidance from the master unit.

these people may be able to help specifically if you don't have instructions for the master unit.

This is the way I did it when we have all the clocks in a hundred room hotel to change when the clocks change in the UK. I went back to the same hotel 35 years later and asked if I could see when the cupboard where the clock was reset, and the unit was still there, albeit not working. It was replaced for a more modern system, of putting clock radios in rooms.

Your clock is set for military time; check the instructions. I believe you have a dual alarm clock that can tell conventional and military time.

Are you getting a signal? The disp Ay should show that it is picking up radio time signal on the display. If not, reposition to a totally different location. If still no signal, receiver must be off. May be warranty issue.

My clock is constantly blinking and won't go on the right time. I unplugged it and plugged it again, it just keeps blinking.

Hello
Check the bckup batteries in the clock first. If they are weak, backup function will not work properly, and the display will blink after a mains power failure.

Auto Clock Set

You do not have to set the clock time as a

built-in automatic time set system is

equipped in this clock powered by 3V (2

X AA batteries, included). All you have to

do is to plug this clock for power and

current time will be shown automatically.

However, the batteries can also be

exhausted and we recommend that you
replace the batteries every 2-3 years

Before You Plug for Power

1. Setting Time Zone

You may slide the TIME ZONE selector at

the back of the unit to Eastern (EST),

Central (CST), Mountain (MST) or Pacific

(PST) (refer to the maps on the right).

2. Daylight Saving

You can slide the DST switch at the back

of the unit to turn on/ off in areas

observing/ not observing such time

change.

WARNING: Please avoid playing with

these buttons after entering the
Clock/Alarm set mode.

Setting Clock

1. Slide the switch /WAKE1/WAKE2/

on the top of the unit to clock position.

2. Press REV or FWD to set the clock

time. The time decrements or increments

will follow by a faster rate when you press

and hold the buttons. The ":" between

hour and minute time flashes when you

are setting the time. AM or PM icon will

also beside the time.

3. Slide the switch /WAKE1/WAKE2/

on the top of the unit to position
when finished.
OK.

The colon between the numbers on the clock, example 8:00 won't stop blinking even after I set the clock and hit the clock button again.

Sometimes the correct procedure for setting the clock is to press the CLOCK or TIME OF DAY button, then enter the time on the keyboard, then press the START button instead.

Otherwise, as long as you can enter a cooking time and your oven operates normally, then don't worry about it. On some models it is normal for the colon on the clock display to blink all the time.

Good luck.

Help daylight savings time is not here yet

I am going to try changing to time zone 7 (Hawaiian Time). Hawaii does not observe DST so this should turn the clock into a regular clock that ignores DST and you need to set yourself twice a year.

RCA alarm clock - RP3721 - crystal or AC for time?

They used to use crystals to help the timer ics to keep time but since the development of Micropros. all this is built in to one chip. Now they will use a resonator or a small crystal for the timing clock of the micro but nowdays the manufacture uses that clock to keep all in check. If your gaining time you probably are having problems with your ac duty cycle as this also keeps clocks in check.. This would not affect most devices but could be a problem. But of course a defective Micro could also cause this gain in time And probably is?? Now a battery backup is nothing more then a battery in line with the Microproccesors B+ terminal through of course a diode as well as a voltage limiter resistor to take over the B+ when the units ac supply is absent..
