Try to go to your phone settings then look for the restore default setting,, if you found it then restore your phone setting to set all to default setting as when you buy it.

Hi,

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Phone displays low storage icon, text messages full, but there are no messages and plenty of phone storage space

Where is the spare storage ? On the phone or on the memory card?

The phone doesn't use the memory card to store messages it uses it's own internal memory storage. If you have saved items there then this may be why it's running out of space.

My phone keeps saying phone storage space is getting low even when I barely have any applications and have deleted a lot...when it says storage space is getting low it also won't let incoming text messages...

go to your email, change folder to trash, and empty the all msgs in trash. My wife had over 100 mb and still had every msgs the phone had ever recieved. It was a pain to delete them

My phone says my messages are full but i deleted them all.

have you checked your memory space? removing the messages may still not have given it enough if you have media related files on your cell phone look in the phone settings there should be something on the memory you may need to delete some music or something. best of luck.

MOTORIZR Z3 - Message Memory Issue

One of my few complaints about my Z3 is the low message capacity. I have a 2gb sd card in there...why can't I store more than 500 texts?
But...500 is a lot more than 10, there's definitely a problem here.
I know there's a way to change the default storage location, although I'm not sure it will change the location of texts or not. Here's how to do it:
Go to the main menu and select "Settings". Scroll down to "Phone Status" and select it. Then select "Download Location" and finally, select the memory card.

Now...What concerns me the most is the 4Tb message flood O_o
