Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Check the connection between your monitor and your pc. It could be the the adaptor from your monitor or your video card.

SOURCE: my LG flatscreen monitor will

i had the same problem, the blue led would flash too on mine. I slapped the back of the monitor fairly hard and it came back on, then i disabled monitor sleep mode and screen saver and its been good for 30 days. I do run the monitor 24/7 too so...:) if its still eledgiable for waranty just send it in and have them fix it. 3 years i think is the average limit. they pay for shipping too :)

When I press the switch button the power led comes up but nothing shows on the screen, the cpu fan rolls for few few seconds and stops

try to do a power drain.... unplug the power chord... then remove the battery.... while the battery is out... press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.... then put the battery back in and then the power chord.... then try booting it up.... if it works well and good.... if it does not and u see all the lights but not anything on the screen, try with an external monitor just to check if its an issue with the lcd screen.... if its working on a different monitor, u know what to do... take it to a service center....

again if nothing works... dont wait.. take it to a service center

Ink absorber full, ip2600

I have a ip2600 that has had the waste ink absorber msg come up twice. After trying several recommended fixes involving pressing the Resume key twice then 4 times, etc., I've found the perfect solution. Start by cleaning the waste pads with tweezers, etc.
1. Press Power Off
2. Disconnect Power Cord
3. At SAME TIME, Press & HOLD Power Key while re-connecting Power cord
4. Release the Power button
5. Press the power button again
This will work!

Continues to say the "check your color cartridge" despite new cartridge and double checked reinsertion.

Please rest your Machine... to do this follow the instructions below;
First of all, Remove the cartridges, and clean the contact points on the cartridges and on the printer.
  • - Turn off your printer, disconnect usb cable, power chord etc.. open the back door, press the power button several times.....
  • - Now connect the power chord and power the machine while you keep pressing the power button (don't hold down), and let me boot up, leave it On for few minutes.
  • - Turn it Off and install the cartridges, reconnect the usb cable, etc.. and reboot the machine. You'll see how it works. If you have problem even after this, please let me know.

Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Starting

Make sure the power chord is seated correctly. Also check the cable that runs from your monitor to the computer make sure it is connected. If the problem still occurs you may wanna swap out cords to ensure it is not a problem with the cord. If that does not fix the problem then it is probably a problem with the monitor itself.

Menu screen appears all the time, flashes through different categories

I tried cleaning the plate as suggested but had the same problem. So I decided to see what would happen if I disconnected the button board all together. I haven't had a problem since. I don't know if this is a good idea or not but it worked for me. You need to make sure the monitor is in the on position before you do so. Since obviously you can't turn it on or make adjustments to the monitor afterwards but I never made any adjustments to it anyway.
