Are you sure you pressed the correct location on your screen???
If so, you may need to calibrate the screen.

To recalibrate the touchscreen on your
nuvi 200 series follow
the steps below:
- Have the unit turned OFF and
unplugged from power.
- Slide the power switch to the
ON position and hold for about 45 seconds.
- A message will display on the
screen: Press Dot.
- Once this message displays,
release the Power button.
- Press in the center of the
Dot.
- Keep pressing in the center
of the Dot as it moves around the screen.
- Once this is complete, there
will be a message: Calibration Complete.
- Touch Ok and the unit will
restart.
The touchscreen will now be recalibrated.
*Note if unit is running software version 6.00 or newer you will want to
follow steps from below.
To recalibrate the touchscreen on your
nuvi 205 series follow
the steps below:
- Have the unit turned OFF and
unplugged from power.
- Place your finger in the top
left hand corner of the touch screen and apply pressure.
- Slide the power switch to the
ON position.
- Hold pressure in left corner
until the Press dot message appears.
- Once this message displays,
remove your finger from the screen.
- Press in the center of the
Dot.
- Keep pressing in the center
of the Dot as it moves around the screen.
- Once this is complete, there
will be a message: Calibration Complete.
- Touch Ok and the unit will
restart.
The touchscreen will now be recalibrated.
