Question about Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver
This problem is caused by connectors inside your Garmin which are not consistently touching. To address this concern you will need to open the unit and bend the little prongs out a bit. Bend the connectors upward. These are located on the screen side. Once bended they will touch the connectors on the other side of the unit when it's close.
Just be careful in opening the unit. You may use silicon glue, apply it along the seams to put the parts back together.
Hope it helps.
