Chances are, you just have to open up the plastic and solder the USB connector back to the main board. You may have to run some thin wire and scrape the traces coming from the board with an xacto knife to reveal the copper traces if the board actually broke.
Worst case scenario, you may need to run jumper wires from point to point by tracing where the USB connections went.
If the board is cracked too far past the USB connector though, you may have to say goodbye to the drive unless you have REALLY good soldering skills, in which case you need to expose the copper of every trace at the break points and run a solder bridge across all the traces until it's all reconnected.

It wont read on my xbox 360

If you already have the Spring 2010 Dash Update for the Xbox 360 console this can be configured( go to Setting up your Xbox 360 with your USB Flash Drive).
The update allows you to configure a flash drive to hold up to 16GB of Xbox 360 games, gamertags, videos, and other information. You can connect two USB storage devices to your console at once.
  • If you don't have it yet, you need to download the update:
To install the update through Xbox LIVE
1. On your Xbox 360 console, sign in to Xbox LIVE.
2. Select Yes, updated now when prompted.
3. When you see the new Dashboard, you're done.

Setting up your Xbox 360 with your USB Flash Drive: 1. Plug the USB flash drive to the Xbox 360 console.
2. On your console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
3. Select Memory.
4. On the Storage Devices screen, select USB Storage Device.

Sandisk Cruzer 8gb Error

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator. I'd also try the thumb drive in a different computer just to make sure the problem isn't with the thumb drive itself. The drive could also be unformatted, or formatted with a filesystem for a different platform that can't be read by XP.

Sandisk 8gb cruzer not working

Bring the Sandisk cruzer to any computer store that offers data recovery and back up or data retrieval. We called them the Data Recovery Center.

Most of them has a software they use in cracking passwords and other secured programs. From their computer, they could actually back up your important files saved in your Sandisk. Then you may now reformat your device.

Hope this helps and have a great day!
