The zero means off, the I means run. These systems of international symbols get out of hand at some point. I'm sure there is no International person, they all live somewhere, so why not learn what English on and off means? When you really think about it the circle logically means a continuous cycle and the line means a stop line or end to something, but it is reversed as is so many of the thoughts made by Engineers that are stressed right out. If you apply old 8 bit computer logic it begins to make some sense, the 1 digit means on and the zero means no continuity, but only a hand full of people are trained for that stuff now, they go straight to a WINDOWS PC from prep school.

Where is the location of my starter relay ********* fuse on a 2003 Chrysler Sebring sedan


WARNING: CHECK TO ENSURE THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS IN THE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION WITH THE PARKING BRAKE APPLIED.

RELAY TEST
The starter relay is located in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment. Refer to the PDC label for relay identification and location.

Remove the starter relay from the PDC as described to perform the following tests:
  1. A relay in the de-energized position should have continuity between terminals 87A and 30, and no continuity between terminals 87 and 30. If OK, go to Step 2. If not OK, replace the faulty relay.
  2. Resistance between terminals 85 and 86 (electromagnet) should be 75 ±5 ohms . If OK, go to Step 3. If not OK, replace the faulty relay.
  3. Connect a battery B+ lead to terminals 86 and a ground lead to terminal 85 to energize the relay. The relay should click. Also test for continuity between terminals 30 and 87, and no continuity between terminals 87A and 30. If OK, refer to Relay Circuit Test procedure. If not OK, replace the faulty relay.
RELAY CIRCUIT TEST
  1. The relay common feed terminal cavity (30) is connected to battery voltage and should be hot at all times. If OK, go to Step 2. If not OK, repair the open circuit to the PDC fuse as required.
  2. The relay normally closed terminal (87A) is connected to terminal 30 in the de-energized position, but is not used for this application. Go to Step 3.
  3. The relay normally open terminal (87) is connected to the common feed terminal (30) in the energized position. This terminal supplies battery voltage to the starter solenoid field coils. There should be continuity between the cavity for relay terminal 87 and the starter solenoid terminal at all times. If OK, go to Step 4. If not OK, repair the open circuit to the starter solenoid as required.
  4. The coil battery terminal (86) is connected to the electromagnet in the relay. It is energized when the ignition switch is held in the Start position and the clutch pedal is depressed (manual trans). Check for battery voltage at the cavity for relay terminal 86 with the ignition switch in the Start position and the clutch pedal is depressed (manual trans), and no voltage when the ignition switch is released to the ON position. If OK, go to Step 5. If not OK, check for an open or short circuit to the ignition switch and repair, if required. If the circuit to the ignition switch is OK, see the Ignition Switch Test procedure.
  5. The coil ground terminal (85) is connected to the electromagnet in the relay. It is grounded through the transmission range sensor only when the gearshift selector lever is in the Park or Neutral positions. Check for continuity to ground at the cavity for relay terminal 85. If not OK with an automatic transmission, check for an open or short circuit to the transmission range sensor and repair. It is grounded by the PCM if the conditions are right to start the car. For automatic trans. cars the PCM must see Park Neutral switch and near zero engine rpm. For manual trans. cars the PCM only needs to see near zero engine rpm. To diagnose the Park Neutral switch of the trans range sensor refer to the transaxle section for more information. Check for continuity to ground while the ignition switch is in the start position. If not OK and the vehicle has an automatic trans. verify Park Neutral switch operation. If that checks OK check for continuity between PCM and the terminal 85. Repair open circuit as required. If OK, the PCM may be defective

Removal
Step-1: Remove beans that are in the bean hopper without spilling them inside. (Use Vacuum).

Step-2: Remove the beans container by removing 3 phillips head screws. Remove the rubber gasket from below the hopper. At this stage the upper burr will be visible.

Step-3: Rotate counter-clockwise the outer ring of the grinder assembly (the ring has gears half way around), until the red mark is at the 9 o’clock position, looking at it from the front of the machine.

Step-4: Lift the upper burr by using the fins that are on top. Press lightly on the doser adjustment gear, to clear it from the dose adjustment gear.

Cleaning-
At this stage, the grinding chamber will be exposed. Clean out any crushed coffee in the grinder chamber and the burrs. Use Vacuum and cleaning brush.

To Re-Assemble

Step-1: With the red mark on the outer ring still at the 9 o’clock position, replace the upper burr back into the grinder. Make sure that the red line (on the upper burr) is at the 3 o’clock position. This position will align the other tabs as well. During re-installation, press slightly on the doser adjustment gear so the upper burr will clear it as it is placed back in.

Step-2: With the Upper burr in place, rotate the outer ring clockwise until it stops. The two red marks should be aligned at the 3 o’clock position underneath the doser adjustment gear.

Step-3: Replace the soft rubber gasket back on the upper burr. Use the fins to align it properly.

Step-4: Slide the doser adjustment gear toward the front of the machine until it stops.

Step-5: Before replacing the bean hopper, rotate the grinder adjustment wheel to Zero (0), and the doser adjustment wheel to Minus symbol (-). Place the bean hopper into position on the machine, slightly adjusting each adjustment wheel as you are placing it down in the machine. Once in place, fasten the bean container with the 3 screws. Test each adjustment wheel through the full range of motion. The grinder knob rotates from 0 to 18 and back, and doser knob from Minus (-) to Plus (+) and back.

Now position the grinder adjustment knob at Eight (8) and the doser adjustment knob to the halfway point between the Plus (+) and the Minus (-) marks. This will put the machine back to the factory setting.

When using for the first time after adjusting the grinder, it may take more than one grinding cycles to make the first cup of coffee.

I can't get rid of the zero in front of the minus, add, multiply and devide sign. how do i get rid of it?


Are you entering any number before pressing the minus, add, multiply, or divide key? Those operations require two numbers; if you don't supply the first one then the calculator will supply the previous answer, which was zero.

For example, to add 2 and 3, press 2 + 3 = and you'll see 5. Now to add 4 to that, press + and the calculator will automatically supply the 5. Press 4 = and you'll see 9.

God bless youError 43 - Zero Switch not FoundDescriptionThe C944 and several versions of C96X used a lift position identification system that did notutilize a potentiometer.Instead, it utilized a switch that would be physically actuated by the lift when the lift was in thezero incline position. A revolution sensor counted lifted motor revolutions to determinesubsequent lift positions. In addition two limit switches where used to remove power from the liftmotor if the lift moved outside of it's normal range.When the unit was powered up the lift would start to hunt for the zero switch. It would first go up4% (maximum lowest physical position was -3%) if it did not find the zero switch or it hit the upperlimit switch, it would then go down until did find the zero switch. When the zero switch waslocated it would stop, the system would then know its physical position and be prepared tomonitor the revolution sensor. If during this power up procedure the zero switch was not found anerror 43 would be displayed.Possible Causes1. The lift position actuator does not physically operate the zero switch.2. The lower PCA is bad.3. The zero switch is bad.Possible Remedies1. There are several physical problems related to the lift platform mounting or the plate the zeroswitch is mounted on that can cause the actuator knob to miss the zero switch as it movespast. Repair the lift platform mounting, repair or replace the lift switch mounting plate asrequired.2. The lower PCA provides a 5 VDC power source for the zero switch. You should measure 5VDC across the zero switch when the zero switch is activated. If the reading is significantlylow, remove both wires from the zero switch and repeat the measurement across the wiresremoved from the zero switch. If the reading is still significantly low, verify the zero switchwiring. If the wiring is intact and correctly connected, replace the lower PCA.3. Move the lift to position where the zero is switch is not activated and remove power from thetreadmill. Remove both leads from the zero switch and measure the zero switch with anohmmeter. The zero switch should read very near 0 ohms. While measuring the zero switchwith the ohmmeter, activate the switch by hand, the reading should change to infinite (open).If either of the above readings are significantly incorrect, replace the zero switch.

Hi I am having issues with a brand new blower. I did the exact starting instructions but it won't start.


Not to sound funny, but be sure it is in the "on" position. Some times the 'on' & 'off' are marked with symbols (usually a minus sign and a zero).
If it gets flooded by trying unsuccessfully to start it, let it be for 10 minutes before trying again.

hi sir When your dishwasher isn't working properly, you should check several main components, such as the door gasket, door latch, switches, and timer
On many dishwashers, the latch engages a switch to activate the timer and other control components. If the latch is not completely engaged or if the switch is faulty, the machine will not operate. Here's how to test and repair a door switch:
Step 1: Latch the door and hold the latch tightly in the closed position. This works best on a unit with a lever-type latch. Then turn the control to the ON position. If the unit works, the problem is probably a misaligned lock unit. Adjust the lock unit with a screwdriver. If this doesn't solve the problem, the switch may be faulty.
Step 2: Test the switch with a volt-ohm-milliammeter (VOM) set to the RX1 scale. Remove the panel covering the door switch and remove one of the electrical lead wires of the switch from its terminals. Clip one probe of the VOM to each switch terminal and shut the dishwasher's door. If the meter reads zero, the switch is working. If the meter reads higher than zero, the switch is faulty and should be replaced.
Step 3: Replace the switch with a new one of the same type. Connect the new switch the same way the old one was connected.

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
  2. Remove steering wheel as outlined under STEERING WHEEL procedure.
  3. Using a screwdriver, pry cover from housing.
  4. Using lock plate compressing No. J-23653 or equivalent, compress lock plate, and pry snap ring from groove on shaft, Fig. 5. Slowly release lock plate compressing tool, then remove tool and lock plate from shaft end.
  5. Slide canceling cam and upper bearing preload spring from end of shaft.
  6. Remove turn signal (multi-function) lever.
  7. Remove hazard warning knob retaining screw, button, spring and knob.
  8. Remove pivot arm.
  9. Wrap upper part of electrical connector with tape to prevent snagging of wires during switch removal.
  10. Remove switch retaining screws and pull switch up from column, guiding wire harness through column.
  11. Reverse procedure to install.



  1. Remove turn signal switch as outlined under TURN SIGNAL SWITCH.
  2. Remove buzzer switch and spring clip. On 1990-92 models, ignition key must be removed from lock to remove buzzer switch. On 1991-92 models, switch and spring clip are one assembly.
  3. Turn lock cylinder to Run position on 1989 models or Lock position on 1990-92 models, then remove lock cylinder retaining screw and the lock cylinder.
  4. To install, rotate lock cylinder to the stop while holding housing. Align cylinder key with keyway in housing, then push lock cylinder into housing until fully seated. Lock cylinder must be in Run position to install buzzer switch.
  5. Install lock cylinder retaining screw, then the buzzer switch, turn signal switch and steering wheel.
