Question about Lands Phones
The first thing I would try is to unplug the base unit (both power and phone line) from the wall for 30 seconds. That will reset your unit and remove any software glitches.
Next, unregister and re-register your phones to your base. The complete procedure is available in the manual.Alternately, remove the battery of the handset and unplug the adapter of the base unit for an extended period of time to dissapate stored electricity. The idea is to hard rest the system. This would them revert the system to factory defaults and remove all settings and configurations. In some cases, this would include the stored information such as phone numbers. Thereafter, pls go through the setup procedure and the 'registering/pairing'.
If that fails, you may want to replace the unit versus replacing the batteries. Most likely it is not your batteries and you will waste the money purchasing them.
If the problem still persists, it would confirm a fault either with base unit or handset. If you are getting the same message on all the handsets, it would be a faulty case and needs replacement unless it is faulty handset.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
