Does the cab have a horn like the one in the photo if it does then you must think again.

you must try to get a replacement crossover or get a speaker geek to fix it for you its not so hard you can get the burnt out components fro radio shack / maplin so on. most of the blown components will show damage or smell like they are burnt because thats what they are.

the cross over plays a very important job in the fact that it filters of the top frequencies so you only get subs on the bottom 12's bass / mid on the top 12's and hi frequencies on the horn.

you will loose all the quality if you go direct and could easily blow things up especially the horn.

this speaker cab looks like a Kenny i had and when working then they are fantastic. i blow one of the sub 12's and the cross over survived so unplug the speakers and test them 1 by one with a little power from an amp and a small amp that does not matter if it gets damaged

How to connect bass power subwoofer

Totally depends on the sub and if it has a crossover and if so what sort and if it has a pass through either for mid/tops or parallel. If it has a low pass then take mixer main out to sub, if mid top output then mid top to that, if only pass through then either full range to mid top from there or probably need crossover in signal path to split the frequencies.

Trying to connect peavey tour 700 to a trace elliot 1518 bass enclosure. Plug the enclosure to the back of the amp. Then plugged my bass into the high gain. Turned it on and nothing happens.

Check continuity on all cables, try a different cabinet with the head and a different head with the cabinet and the bass with a different rig to see which part of the chain isn't working, make sure the volume controls are turned up on both the amp and bass. Once the problem is narrowed down it will be easier to advise you.

My crossover on Behringer speaker cab ba-115 (15" bass driver plus tweeter) is bad. Does anyone have the schematic before I tear it apart?

There is very little to an inspeaker crossover that could go bad unless it was SEVERELY overdriven. I recommend checking the speaker individually on a wire from a stereo or something powered to verify this. A crossover is nothing more than a capacitor (high cutoff) and an inductor.(low cutoff). The 600 watts rating of the cabinet is an RMS rating, meaning, .707 actual peak value free of distortion. This means that you can only drive it about 71% of that without distorting or damaging it. You said, "very little signal gets to the speaker", which sounds like "very low volume" meaning, magnet stuck, speaker not moving much, meaning warped voice coil. Check that the speaker will move back and forth with your hand freely without interference or scratchy noise. If it doesn't, the voice coil is warped and the speaker needs to be reconed or replaced.

No sound. All of the Power Transistors are good, diodes are good, high frequency drivers are good... I can't find anything bad, but I still have no sound. Is there a weak link in the amp that I can...

Apparently you have tested all the transistors on a curve tracer as you have confirmed they are all good... That is a lot of work taking them out to do that. You may need to use an oscilloscope to trace this amp's problem. Behringer does NOT give out schematics to other than their service agencies... I have a site I can get some schematics, however the BX4500H is not among those. There is a partial schemtic thaat MAY be the preamp section but none for the power amp. The first thing to check is that the amplifier reaches DC balance at the output which is easy to find... Using a pair of headphones, plug into the "send/tuner" and see if you have audio...(it will only be in left headphone as it is mono)... Try the same thing with the line out... if audio is at these points, the preamps are working. Note that the headphone level may be quite low which would be normal as these are not intended to drive headphone impedance.

This bass squels if you have a bass head and cabinet. i had a 100W amp and it played fine then upgraded to a head/cab. tryed playing it with loud volume, squels. anyway to fix this?

Turn down the treble gain and mid gain... you don't need it for a bass. Prevent the guitar from "hearing" the output of the amp directly. The guitar strings make a good microphone.

My bass amp Behringer bx 4500 dont have power when I turn on the switch. I check the fuse but it was fine. What could be the problem of the amp when it does not turn on?

First thing is to verify that the power cord is GOOD and that it is fully seated. Beyond that repair is NOT DIY. Take it to a repair shop.
