My computer is a HP compaq dc7700s and I finally took it to my local best buy and they said I need a low profile card. I would like to know which one can fit and give me the best quality.

No they told me that it has nothing and that the only thing would be a low profile card

I have the PCI and the PCIe and the PCIe seems like there would be no card that would fit properly. It does sit a little farther back but, if its possible I would like to go wit 512mb.

You probably have a video card already in computer either on the M/board or i a slot check device drivers any with a yellow mark do not have drivers installed right click and go to properties new popup go to driver update it should go on the net to find them

first what sort of card slot do you have AGP or PCI-E the minimum card you should go for is one with 256mb memory on board
The AGP slot is about 4 inches long the PCI-E slot as smaller and usually a bit further away from back of case
There are many types out there try an ATI or Radeon these are the common most popular ones

Now you will have to check your M/board and see what speed your PCI-E slot is either 4x 8X or 16X when you have Found that out any card up to your maximum speed will do 256mb or 512 or even iff you can get it 1gb just make sure when you see the card that it will fit in the area .IE no other cards or components on board high enough to interfere with fitting

Does the card fit in the slot for it if so
you may need to go into BIOS and change the video from onboard to PCI-E or whatever is the alternative
If it does not fit in slot its the wrong card
A PCI-E slot the card fits in is about 1 to 1 and a half inches long
An AGP slot is 4 inches long

I have compaq sg3530il desktop and i want to know which graphic card is compatible with my computer ?

You must contact the manufacturer of the computer (HP) for compatibility and recommendations for a graphic card. Go to the HP website and click support and send them an email. Only the manufacturer can give you a straight answer. HP bought out Compaq several years ago, so I'm sure it would be HP to contact.

That appears to be a monitor; most cards should drive it OK without a driver.

NVidia 8400GS PCI card is a pretty good card that isn't oversized, and the best thing is that all computers have a PCI slot so you shouldn't have problems with fitting/compatability. They're in any electronic store like best buy, etc. I had that card and played WoW/warhammer very well on it.

Ack graphics card wont fit in any input slots

the adapter u are using is pci express and the dell dimension 9100 are not compatible.. try returning it for either a pci (usually the white slot) or AGP which in most cases is brown.. the AGP will be your best performance.. if return is not an option.. then it seems that a new pc is in your best interest.

Second Life

well, alot of factors come into play. First get an ATI 9700, ther less than hundred now, get it from a Computer store that actually has staff that know about computers, dont go to best buy or someplace like that, they only stock the better more expensive ones.

Make sure you get the right one, I.E. AGP or PCI, whichever one your PC is. The graphics card will make your P.C. run better when it comes to rendering graphics so you will see improvement on Games in the way of smoothness and detail. Picture viewing and editing will improve.

If you dont know anything about computers, or enough to get the right hardware, then find an Altek computer store or a comp USA or some kind of store that deals mostly with computers. take your whole unit and go in with it and ask a rep, say, " I need a Video card that fits this machine that meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of this program. Take the program box with you also.

Be prepared for them trying to sell you more than you need, get something thats better than the minimum requirements for the program so that way your sure to not have performanc issues.
