There is a specialist oil for washing machines. IT is called gear case oil. You may check your dealer or manufacturer for details.

Oil stains inside of washer on the aggitator.

The transmission seal has gone bad. That typically happens when the bearing wears and becomes "sloppy", putting pressure on the seal. If you're getting oil OUT of the transmission, you could be getting water IN, which is pushing the oil out or the oil could be coming out just because of heat. Either way, you'll need a transmission.

Troubleshooting oil leaks on Nissan Altima

Your Altima uses a variety of different oils to lubricate various components. Normally, these oils won't leak. But when you do find a leak, you will almost always need to have extensive work done on your Altima to correct the problem. However, before you can replace anything, you need to know what kind of oil it is
Check for brown or black oil leaking on the ground or on the side of the engine. This is engine oil. It lubricates critical engine components. A leak means that an engine seal has failed and needs to be replaced

Check for red oil. Red oil is trans fluid. On your Altima, it most likely means that you have a rear main seal on the transmission that has failed. However, any seal on the transmission is possible. Transmission leaks need to be fixed immediately. A transmission can fail catastrophically in 20 minutes of driving if there is insufficient oil in the transmission

Check for amber or brown oil leaking from your trans. This is transmission gear oil found only on the manual version of the Nissan Altima.

Lower unit oil

On the lower side of the gearbox, below the line of the prop shaft, you will see a screw that is about10-15mm across. This is the drain for the g/box oil.If you look above that screw about 150mm(6 inches),you will see another screw the same.It may even be marked 'oil level'.Remove them both.
Checked the drained oil is not milky. It's a sign of water and the propshaft seal would need to be replaced.
The oil bottle you buy will have a tapered nozzle. You must fill the g/box from the LOWER hole by sqeezing the bottle. When it comes out of the UPPER hole, the g/box is filled.Quickly put the lower screw back in first, and then the upper screw.Done.
Before you refill the g/box,check the washer/seal on the screws and make sure they are still good. Hope this helps

Were are the oil drain bolts on the 2003 honda 450

The engine oil drain is on the lower left side of the crankcase, beneath the crankcase side cover toward the front. Bolt w/copper or aluminum sealing washer. Transmission drain plug is on the lower left side also but to the rear just back of the cover. This is a larger bolt w/sealing washer. These things are tricky to find the first time because they are not located in the usual bottom locations.

Leaking grease

All washer machines have a "transmission" - just like a car these units have oil in them and when the seals that protect the oil from going to our clothes is breake, oil finds its way to your clothes.
Transmission needs to be replaced.

Leaks lime looking oil

The problem is the bottom transmission seal. This can be fixed with a few basic tools without calling a tech. Lay the washer on it's back, block up the tranny support and remove the pulley and seal. you might want to consider changing the belt and lower transmission bearing also. Total price of these parts should be around $50. Don't worry about the loose of oil.
