Honda Tiller revs and works for 30 seconds and then shuts down.


Hello. you have some gunk in the carburator. Get a can of starter fluid or carburator cleaner aerosol and a helper. Remove the air filter and start it up. Spray a little starter fluid into the air cleaner to keep it running for three or four minutes and the problem should clear. If it does not clear the carburator will have to be disassembled, cleaned and rebuilt. j.

I have a Mantis Tiller. It starts but has no torq...


possibly the (muffler) is plugged with carbon. happens when too much oil is used

Tiller starts then stalls


The air filter should be replaced. Also remove the old gas and put in new from the gas station. Finally, if you didn't change the spark plug from last seaon, do so as it is a small amount of cash for a lot of easy starts.

take pull rope cover off and oil the clutch that screws on the crank shaft

In order to start my tiller up the tines have to engaged


no,it sounds like the wires on the neutral safety switch need to be changed or the switch is bad
