Hi,

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Good luck.....

I have problem with Acer aspire keyboard, some keys are not working

You may accidentally have turned NumLk on which causes the keys on the right part of the keyboard to act as a keypad for entering numbers. A little padlock with the number 1 in its middle is the indicator for NumLk and it will be lit or a LED bar underneath it will be lit when NumLk is on. On the Acer Aspire One 8.9" screen model ZG5, the NumLk is toggled on/off by holding down Fn and pressing the F11 key. Also, when NumLk is on, pressing U I O gets 4 5 6 and J K L M gets 1 2 3 0. The reason for embedding the numeric keypad within the usual character keys eliminates having a separate set of keys for the keypad function resulting in a more compact keyboard that better fits with notebook computers such as the netbooks which have smaller screen sizes.

I Dont know How To Get my keypad out of my Samsung G600 ?

Hi,
To get the keypad out, you will need to remove the battery cover and take out your battery and sim card. Then, unscrew the four visible screws in the four corners. Then, using a screwdriver or something like that, push out the two rubber screw protectors that are at the bottom of the phone, and remove them. Then, remove the back off of your phone. Then, you will notice that when you try to pull off the mainboard, it is being pulled down in one direction towards where the camera button is. What you need to do is to unclip that cable connector from the mainboard, and then gently pull the mainboard up. Then, you will notice that the mainboard does not properly come off, so you need to disconnect the cable connecting the mainboard to the phone screen. Do this by just gently pulling it off using the flap. Then, take the mainboard off. Then, you can lift off the keypad.
Hope this helps, and if it doesn't, I have a Samsung G600 Service manual PDF if you want it.

Annoying beeping with every letter on a text message

You should be able to turn the keypad tones off:

Go to:

Menu;

Settings;

Phone Settings;

Phone Profiles;

'Normal' [providing your phone profile is set to 'normal'];

Now, scroll two places to the right until you are in the 'Phone sounds' tab. Select 'Keypad Tone' and turn it 'off'.

Hope that solves it!

Razr- turning on camera makes screen turn black but keypad stays lit

the easiest thing tpo do here is take it to a professional but if you want to try updating your software off the Motorola website. (this require a data cable or bluetooth in your computer) This fixes a lot of software problems with the razor. If this doesn't work then you will have to reflash your Firmware which is like the Windows Xp of the phone. This does require a professional as it can destroy the phone
