How do you adjust the seat on a Trek Jet 20?

Should be much the same as with any bike. Loosen the bolt (probably metric allen wrench head) that is on the clamp at the top of the seat post, raise or lower the seat, and then retighten. If you want to move the saddle forward or back or tilt it differently you loosen the nut or nuts on either side of the saddle, move as desired, and then retighten.

No reverse after i park my 1962 ford automatic

Fluid level and a dirty filter are the first things to check, then a band adjustment is next on the list. as the pan needs to come off to change the filter adjst the bands at the same time. the tea levels in the bottom of the oil pan will tell you in there are more serious issues inside.

How do I adjust the tilt of the saddle?

It depends on seat post. If you have adjustable seat post, you should be able to tilt your saddle as needed when clamp screw(s) is loosened.

How do you adjust the carbuerator

Most of the new carburetors have screws with special heads that do not accept tools most DIY's will have. These carb. adjusting tools are restricted to dealers only. I can't speak for all dealers but many will adjust the carb. for you if you ask.

If you can adjust yours, start with one turn out from "seat" and adjust as needed for proper performance.

How do I deactivate the easy-access/easy-entry seat feature on a 2003 Lincoln LS that is not equipped with the vehicle message center?

If you do deactivate will loose the Seat,Pedal Adjustment,Outside Mirrors,Tilt/Telescope. So I would leave it. What are the issues?? If you have the owners manual it is on page 146. I checked the service manual and you may be able to remove the seat settings,in the seat driver module. You would need a scan tool. That I guess is why the owners manual mentions the dealer can turn it off. My question is ,that there is no manual seat adjustment?

Compressing the rear disc brake caliper on 2008 grand caravan

The rear calipers on these models require a special tool that compresses and turns the piston in at the same time -- most parts stores carry this tool.

It is called a caliper piston press -- and it installs where the pads would go and acts like a c-clamp,when turning handle it will turn the caliper piston backinto the caliper as it compresses it.
Anytime the brake rotor or brake pads are being replaced, the rear caliper piston must be seated (bottomed) to compensate for the new brake rotor or lining. Because the Parking Brake self-adjuster mechanism is attached to the piston, a special seating method is required. The only acceptable method is by rotating the piston back into the bore using Retractor,MILLER Special Tool 8807, . Any other seating method will damage the self-adjuster mechanism.
Good luck and hope this helps.

Explorer seat

You need a new or used passenger seat tilt lever. Mine broke also. There are a couple on sale on EBay for $30.00. See link, otherwise you can buy new from Ford for about $75.00.
