Makita doesn't furnish online schematics for replacement parts, BUT you can call their tech department and they should be able to send one as a PDF. Call them at 1-800-4625482. They do have one online for the original switch at "makitausa.com" but not the replacement. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Replacing an ST699 with a ST9400C following repl wiring diagram, but programmer does not come on. Is the diagram incorrect? Wiring colours do not follow any of the plans. Syst has room stat, cyl stat,...

Disregard wire colors. Instead wire by terminal designation. In other words :
Wire on "R" Terminal on old thermostat to "R" Terminal on new thermostat no matter the color.

I AM REPLACING THE HEADER IN H250FDN HEATER. NEW HEADER INSTRUCTIONS MATCH OLD HEADER AND NUMBERS MATCH ON OLD AND NEW BUT NEW HEADER IS DIFFERENT. OLD HEADER HAS 2 LIMIT ON BOTTOM NEW ONE HAS 1 ON BOTTOM...

As long as it still has 2 hi limit switches, this will be easy.

You will need one wire going from one limit switch to the other. (on any terminal)
take either of the incoming wires from the old limit wiring and connect to second terminal on either limit switch.
Now take the last remaining wire and connect ot to the last terminal on the second limit switch.

Basically, you are just creating a bridge. Power will go into first limit switch, then go into the second limit switch via the first wire indicated above. Then the power will go back out to the pc board. If a high limit switch trips, then power is cut off (cicuit opens) and it tells the cpu there is a problem and shuts down the heater.

So to simplify: connect the wire in between the two limit switches. Then put the other 2 wires anywhere.

Not sure need a diagram for payne 2 ton or 21/2 ton yac108c. The service techs tore it off need it to install a blow motor.

Actually you can change it without the diagram. Simply cut the wires on the motor and leave the terminal ends attached to both the contactor terminals, and possibly the cpacitor if present. Then install your new fan motor replacing the leads from the old one with the leads from the new one.

But if the new motor has different colored leads, usually the brown leads are attached to the capacitor (it doesn't matter which terminal the leads go to, as long as there are only two leads and it is just the fan's capacitor). And then attach the other two leads to where the other two old leads are. (Naturally removing or swapping new wires to where old ones were.)

Low/High Switch wiring for Hayward Superpump

I do not read anywhere that you have a 230V DPDT switch which you will need in order to select the high or low speed. You will have 6 terminalas on the switch. Line connections usually go to the middle set. Put put sides of one pole to the common terminal and put one of the other posts to the hi and the other to the low terminal. I prefer to use am on-off-on switch so the switch in the middle turns off the pump. Flip it one way for hi and the other for low. If you post your stock number from the two-speed motor I could give you a more accurate diagram if you need it. Generally, 1 is common, 2 hi and 3/4 low.

Honeywell s861ou 3009 intermittent pilot module, i just installed this control on my furnace. I have one wire left from my old johnson control. this wire either goes to the draft fan or the burnham logic...

What is the wire on the old control.....what terminal is it on??....When replacing old controls the new ones often have different terminals and sometimes incorporate some terminal internally etc....the Wiring Diagram included should be followed exact....if it's working fineit's likely ok....if you have any doubt have it looked at by an expert

Replacing a dual burner control switch

First, have you removed the wires from the old switch?

If not, then look on the switch, old or new, and see if there are numbers on the terminals. If so, just move the wires one at a time, terminal number to terminal number.

If you have removed the wires, then you will need to find the wiring diagram, which is most likely found somewhere inside the unit or on the back panel. You should be able to identify the correct wire connection from the wiring diagram.

If you can reply the full model number, I might can find a wiring diagram for it and give you more direction.

Replacing a thermostat

Typically if you are replacing a heat only thermostat you will have two or three wires. On the old thermostat these wires will be attached to terminals marked "R", "W" and maybe "G". Document what color wires goes to which terminal and transpose these to the new thermostat. If you have a heat and cool thermostat, you will have two or three more wires and connected to terminals labeled "C", "B" and "Y". Again, transpose these wires to the new thermostat as best you can.
