Question about Canon PIXMA MP460 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Error may appear after the printer is powered on or when attempting to make a copy or scan. This can happen if an IC on main board of the printer is either malfunctioning or has corrupt data in it.
To confirm if this is due to corrupt data, try clearing the memory by resetting it.
1. On the operator panel, press and hold the <ON/OFF> button for one second. (The display will go blank.)
Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.
2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the <ON/OFF> button again. (or plug back in)
3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.
Then see if you still get same error.
