Check the power supplies... beyond something pretty simple you won't have much of a chance of fixing if it is on the main board. Technics is really out of the business for the most part... they are a part of Panasonic. Expect to find voltages of +5 and +/-15 volts.

You can download a service manual for a KN6000 here and just MAYBE find enough simularity:

http://elektrotanya.com/technics_sx-kn6000-sm.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to the "Get Manual" and click on it to start the download.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Power module out

First of all measure the power output of the mains adaptor. If this is working and the polarity is correct proceed.

Plug into keyboard with a lifting movement on the plug on the end of the cable - does it turn on? If not try pushing down on the plug. Does it turn on? IF in either of these positions the socket has broken away from the PCB - you will need to resolder or fit a new socket.

If still a problem then you would need to investigate the power input lines on the board inside. If you are not technically minded probably best let to a Yamaha service centre.

The top keyboard of 3 keyboards work, but not the middle and bottom one. There is a distort sound on speaker if you press one of the keys on middle and bottom one. What can be the problem Please ....

I haven't actually got the means to trace out diagrams on this particular model but I did find you a service manual if you have the technical skills to fix it.

Hello, I have a big problem with my korg pa800 , yesterday I was on gig, and suddenly the whole keyboard in the middle of playing got the distortion on every sampled or fabric tone!!! I have tried...

It will require repair. I suspect by you description that the D-A convertor has failed. This is a chip that is far beyond a DIY project to change. Do further testing to make sure the power supply voltages are correct and that headphone output sounds the same problem.

Here is your service manual: http://elektrotanya.com/korg_pa800_sm.pdf/download.html

Scroll down to "get manual" and click to download the manual. IGNORE other download links.

Casio CT-670 Tone Bank keyboard completely dead

How familiar are you with schematics? I've just found my CT-670, There where marker marks on the keys. I cleaned it up. I took it apart as one channels had no sound. I love this machine. I want to find a manual for it also schematics would be very helpful for me too.
I would suggest looking inside for burns on semiconductors. or loose soldering. I need to replace a chip that has no cross reference... that I've found yet... I think it's an amplifier but need to spend more time on it....
