The speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good and is dust free
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer
hope this helps

Drivers side speaker not working

Remove the radio and locate the wires that run to the speaker, first check to see that the wires were connected to the big plug that goes in at the back of the radio unit.
if it is connected take the plug loose. carefully strip some of the wire leading to the speaker big enough to place a AA batttery terminals. hold one of the wires on one of the sides of the battery and then tap the other wire (expsed portion) on the other side of the battery, if the speaker makes a noise, then the wireing is fine and the issue is either a setting on the radio. or the radio is faulty. if the speaker does not make a noise, check to see that the speaker is properly connected. if the speaker is connected, do one last test on it before replacing it. remove the connections on the speaker and place small lead wires on it and do the battery test direct.

High pitched noise coming from speakers after installing stereo

check your wires if they are too near some big power wires and move them away from these high powered wires or check your grounds and make sure its a good ground by scrapping the connection until bare metal. Also its a possibility rca's or wires are getting pinched or not fully connected.

The big speaker make noise by itself!!!

Don't think the difference of 18/22vdc would make the noise. Is the noise constant? maybe too close to another device like a microphone or a something that would give off radio waves. Cell phones and cordless telephones. wireless gateways/routers. Try moving speakers away from these types of devices.

I have a Rockford PL2-110 and intermittently I get a loud popping noise out of nowhere. the sub sounds good the majority of the time but occasionally it will make the noise more and more often. any ideas?

Have you double checked the wiring ( + to + and - to -)? When hooked up correctly, a sub should push outward when bass hits. If your wiring is correct and your amp isnt too big for the speaker then its about to go out.
