Hooked power up and all the screen says is burn in mode

Get monitor out of burn in mode by unplugging the power to monitor then while holding down the power button on monitor plugged in the power cord to the monitor all while it is connected to a running computer. Turn the monitor off with the power button. When press the power again the burn in mode should be gone and the monitor should display the computer

Can you try the screen in another computer? I beleave the screen goes into power saveing mode when there is no input signal, thats what both my screens do.

hi this is screen burn mode, press the menu button on the remote to stop it you may have to retune tv back in, if this don't work, you will need to go into the service mode and turn the screen burn mode off,to do this press menu on the tv and menu on the remote, you should see another screen pop up, select screen burn mode to off if the first sequence don't work try ok on the tv and ok on the remote, thanks

I presume you have burned in an image from some source? Plasmas are very sensitive to burning in so be careful when hooking up a device that doesn't have pixel shift or dimming. Think about how a DVD player splash screen looks.

You will need some sort of source device that can give you WHITE and BLACK. If you have a VGA input on your plasma (more than likely) hook up a computer to it using the PC input and bring up PowerPoint. Bring up just a blank new presentation. Hit the F5 button or click on the tripod screen button. This will bring up the full display screen, which should be white. If not hit the "W" key on the keyboard. If the burned image shows up as a gray or black image, leave it on for a few minutes and then check it periodically.

f you don't see a burned image when in WHITE mode, hit the "B" key. This will bring up a BLACK screen. Check your screen again. Keep doing ot until the screen is clean. By the way, this will not completely remove all burned in images.

That is probably it's, uh, analog power saving mode. When the screen goes black and the power button flashes, make some mouse gestures or hit some keys that would not affect anything (try spacebar). That should bring up the screen. If you think it goes into power saving mode too fast, go to Control Panel --> Power Options, and change the values. Hope this helps.

Try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 while the computer starts up.
If you can get it into safe mode perform a system restore.
If it won't boot into safe mode please post back.

Is it under warranty by chance?
What is happening is when you turn on the TV, it's trying to power up the screen at that moment. If it can't power up the screen, it will turn off automatically. This is what they call, "Protection Mode".
All the TVs made by Funai (Emerson and Sylvania) are having the same problem. The Inverter Transformers needed to power up the screen are somewhat low quality and burn out easily. I'm sure of of them burned out.
Your TV, I believe, takes 6 of those things to power the screen. And they are all on one circuit board.

If the TV is not under warranty, then let me know what the board number is on that circuit board. The board inside the TV should have maybe 6 connectors that hook up the screen. I may be able to track down a replacement board for you.

it sounds like your most likely having trouble with the hibernate feature try this
start>>control panel>>power options>> click on the hibernate tab
un check enable hibernate mode
this should fix your issue

the module standard sleep mode is in effect this usually requires you to log out and then log back in as a screen saftey percausion so it dont burn what ever is on your screen

on desktop right click
properties
goto screen saver
then down at bottom monitor power click the tab
adjust how you want your settings but be warned that adjusting settings might hurt your screen as you leave screen on for lenghth of period the image burns into screen

if you remember monogramn this was a fault of continuous screen deplicition
