It is a KDRRS807( think) gas combo (convection) oven. Yes, it did start after my wife tried to do a clean then aborted it. Also the oven light will not turn off.

    Thanks

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. Can you could provide the model number that will help determine if it's a combo, gas, electric and avoid any generalizing with you machine. Another question I have that may go a long way in solving this problem is this, did this problem seem to start following a self clean of the oven ? You also mentioned the clock/timer (master control) has power going to it, but what about voltage coming out when you select either bake or broil ? I'll wait for you reply to see whats been done or suggested and checked to this point. Regards, Macmarkus :)

    Hello again,

Thank you for the reply and providing the model number. I've found this model I think to be yours, KDRS807SS. Since this followed a self clean cycle I'd suggest you check the thermal fuse at the back.

This will require you to slide the oven out and remove the back panel. Once the panel is off you should see a stat/fuse which will resemble this image...

you can ohm out that part and you should have continuity with one or both wires removed ( closed contacts ) or you can remove the wires on the stat and join them together ( known as "jumper" connecting ) to try the oven function.

If the fuse is "open" or no good, ( no continuity -infinite ) you can replace it with part # 9759242 available at "searspartsdirect.com" or "repairclinic.com" to name a couple.

**Please use caution when doing these test's and unplug the range entirely when servicing, only plugging it is when you're all clear and no wires are touching anything...safety first**

If this occurred before the clean cycle actually became operational or was functioning, it could be a door latch switch error, but that will typically produce an error code of some kind. We'll cross that bridge if or when necessary.

Let me know what you find and I'll continue to assist you in any manner I can. Good luck.

    Regards,

    Macmarkus :)

I'm getting error 40 on wolf warming drawer, with beeping...buttons don't work...rest breaker few times...doesnt work...

Not knowing the make and model number of the microwave doesn't give me much information to work with. Try to google the make and model number, along with the phrase "unit beeps and error 40 on warming drawer", and see if something comes up. There are sites with error codes, which might help.
Also, refer to any literature that came with the unit, to see if they have the error codes listed, and what they refer to.
You can often go to the manufacturer's site and find useful information about various problems, and what needs to be done.
Wish I could be more specific, but will try to check back to see if you can include the make and model number, and then we will go from there.

Code F6, E0, "Communication Error"

Hi. this code represents a key pad or control board malfunction. you will have to make sure the key pad or control panel connectors are connected tightly and securely. If the wires and connectors are secure, the actual control board may be faulty and you will need to replace it at this point.
