Most TVs have a yellow video and a white audio and red audio input. The Wii comes with a cable to connect to a TV with a yellow, white and red RCA cable. Plug in the large block end of this cable to the Wii (rectangle block) and the other end into the TV using the yellow plug to the yellow input jack and the white plug to the white input jack and red to red. Select on the TV using the TV remote, the input where the Wii is hooked up. This is the standard way.

red, blue and green are the component video inputs and would probably require the Wii component video cable accessory part. Are you sure there is no yellow input, even on the front of the TV.

  • emii_escamil Apr 10, 2011

no, there are only red white and black.

The Wii can connect to your red, blue and green input jacks but you would need the Wii component video cable to hookup. It has actually five cables, red, blue, green plus white and red for sound. Buy it online or at a video game store and hookup according to the colors to the TV.

I cant get inernet on my wii i did the conichion test but it does not work

  • The Wii has a very weak wireless receiver. The only thing you can do is try placing the Wii much closer to the Router. If that is not possible, don't place the Wii against a wall/other objects that may interfere with the connection. Placing it on top of the TV by itself would work best.
  • Please reply if you have any more questions. Good Luck! Please give 4 thumbs up if I helped!

I got the above link and it shows how to connect to your model tv. It goes into a little more detail than you may need but it is pretty short. Follow the instructions for connecting the composite cables that come with your wii and you should be fine.
