Turn the propane tank valve to OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes. Then, reconnect the hose to the tank and turn the tank valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn the burner knob to high. Does the flame height look as it should? I f it does, light the remaining burners the same way, one at a time. Do all the burners burn as they should? If so, you solved the problem. If not, you need to replace the grill hose/regulator assembly. You can get one from any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Just take your old one with you for comparison purposes.

Hope this helps and Happy Grilling!

Grill won't start

if your sure the propane tank is full, and the valve is open, (counter clockwise, and the control knob is on? you should not only smell it after 20 seconds, but if you put your ear near the grill you should hear a sound like air leaking.If you hear nothing and smell nothing, good chance there is a blockage in the line, or the burner holes are filled with drippings. First off, get a wire brush and scrub the burners where you see the small holes that the flame normally comes out of, then try the grill again, if still nothing (and your 100% sure the tank is full, the tank is on, and the control knob is on high) you may need to start taking apart the grill, looking for a blockage, many times its below the control knob where you will see an adjustable screen, spider webs and such will get in there and block the flow. Remember to not do any of that with the tank on the grill, remove the tank first.;

I HAVE A FULL TANK OF PROPANE, IS NOT GOING THRU THE LINES. WHAT SHALL I DO?

The best thing you can do it the following:

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF and disconnect the hose from the tank.

2. Wait 5 minutes and reconnect the hose to the tank.

3. Open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).

4. Once the tank valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and set the burner
control knob on HIGH. Does the flame height look correct for being set on HIGH? If so, light
the remaining burners the same way. Do all the burner flames look correct? If so, you solved
the problem. Remember, to always open the tank valve Very, Very Slowly.

If that didn't solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. It runs about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells grills & accessories. If you replace it, turn the tank valve ON Very, Very Slowly.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Low flame - even at full power. Help! Propane tank is full.

there is a high flow check valve in the regulator designed to prevent large amounts of propane from escaping. sometimes this gets activated by turning it on with the burner valves open. 1. turn tank valve off 2. open burners .3. close burners after 10 secs. 4open tank valve slowly.

Low flame

Either ;
1 your valve is not opening on your tank,
2 your regulator is bad on your tank, or
3 your out of gas.

Unless your second burner is going fine then you have :
4 a bad burner valve control not opening or
5 Some cobwebs inside the burner blocking the gas flow.

If this helps you please rate me with as high a mark as you can. Thanks for using Fix ya and Good Luck
