You have done about all you can, swapping cables and systems with the same results and the beep tones you are getting in all cases aren't really an 'I'm OK' but a signal that there is current flowing between the devices.
I suspect the USB port on your printer is not communicating; I just ordered a multi-interface tester that would reveal if there is any traffic between connected devices but it isn't here yet so I can't really recommend it.

I'm retired but can't resist the low price and its broad coverage.
Since USB is rolled into a small chip today, there isn't likely to be a separate cheap board to replace but is probably part of the main circuit board so not really worth repairing. Good luck-
