As long as it runs out of fuel before it runs out of oil that is fine, there is no adjustment for the pump.

I have a husq/136 chain saw 2002 replaced oil ppump and pich up tube it still pumps to much oil on chain

this can happen when the two plates are missing that go on each side of the blade, or there is a oil adjust screw that controls output of oil, but lots of oil is a good thing as long as it last a tank of gas, if not it can be a bad thing !

Chaisaw wont keep consistant tension. 1st it goes really tight then after retension it goes really slack. any ideas?

Most chain tention issues are due to inadiqate oil to the bar and chain, or the wrong type of oil, there may also be issues if this is a tooless system to lock the bar.

On my Husquvarna 350 chain saw ,ser # 04306904 in the workshop manual on page 28 on the oil pump it shows a oil hose & oil filter on part (A) . My saw does not have this hose & filter leaks a...

The 350 series saw did not have a tube and filter from the oil tank, the filter was a grey plastic insert in the base of the tank, held with a single cross head screw, it can be removed without removing the fuel tank, it can be seen on the sprocket side between the crankcase and fuel tank, the workshop manual is generic, and refers to the 345/351/353 which does have a pipe and filter.

Excessive gas usage apprx. 2 miles per gallon

Sounds more like a leak check under the vehicle make sure the tank, fuel lines, and fuel filter are all dry. make sure you check the entire length of the fuel line from tank to engine, it may be difficult to follow but you dont want to be driving that with gas leaking out.

How do i take apart an eager ****** mcculloch chaisaw to put on new gas lines

Drain the fuel tank, then remove a screw at the back end of the trigger handle, two screws at the rear of the case and possibly one or two under the rear case half. Keep track of which screws went where. The rear case should just pull off (watch the wire oil-pump lever which will come loose). The fuel tank pulls off rearward as well. This exposes the engine and main fuel line. Hope this helps!

Husqvarna 136 is not getting enough oil. Changed the pump, but it is not drawing it up to the bar

what you can do is try taking the cap off of oil tank drain oil, take chain & bar off try taking compreesed air or air blow nosel in hole going to blow & if its clogged it should blow out of cap hole or there might be a hole in line but it might have saw dust in oil clogging oil from coming out
