TV turns on, then turns it self off about 5 minutes later. Then you must wait awhile to turn it back on. Already checked and there is no sleep timer or any other setting enabled.

I had a similar problem with my Samsung LCD TV. It turned out to be the internal power supply that was the cause of this trouble. When the repairman came out I told him what had been happening and he said "yeah power supply" right away and replaced it (under extended warranty that I usually don't buy) and yay it's working again still 2 years later.

My Sharp LE820 Aquos LED TV recently auto turn itself off, when I turn it back on, a few good 10 minutes or so later it automatic turn itself off again.

Please check that the sleep timer did not somehow get set. If it's not the sleep timer, check if the panel stays ON longer after it's been off for awhile to cool down. Possibly a heat problem with the power supply or main board.

HD50lpw42 rear projection tv. Once tv is on for a while it shuts off. Suspected fan problems, I placed a floor fan behinde tv, a few min later tv comes back on. Could it just be the fan or could it be...

Make sure your filter screens are kept clear.
Protect Components from Overheating
• Don’t block ventilation holes on any of the components. Arrange the components so that air can circulate freely.
• Don’t stack components.
• If you place components in a stand, make sure you allow adequate ventilation.
• If you connect an audio receiver or amplifier, place it on the top shelf so the heated air from it won’t flow around
other components.
Hope this helps!. Otherwise in your owners manual, under troubleshooting it states:
TV turns off while playing
• Sleep Timer, Wake-up Timer, or Watch feature may have been activated. Go to page 45 or 69 for instructions.
• Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then turn on again. If this
happens frequently, the voltage in your house may be abnormally high or low.
• The sleep timer may be set.
• Unplug. Wait five minutes. Plug in again.
Hope this help you out.

Power turn off after 45 minutes to 1 hour used

Check the "Sleep Timer" settings. If set to 45 minutes then TV would automatically turn itself off 45 minutes from being turned on. The variance in the "on" times is due to the TV turning itself off after not getting a signal from the remote for fifteen minutes.

Good luck,

Tv turns t"s self off, take 20 minutes to get back on

Check the "sleep timer" function and make sure that it is not turned on (if it has one) - one other thing I would try is to be sure that an energy saving feature is not enabled that puts your TV on standby after a period of time (although this is unlikely).
