Flash card error appears on the screen and stops the camera from shooting


Solution 1 • Unlock focus area selector. • Auto-area AF selected for Custom Setting 2 (AFarea mode): choose another mode. • Press shutter-release button halfway to turn monitor o?¬? or activate exposure meter • Memory card is full, locked, or not inserted. • Flash is charging. • Camera is not in focus. • CPU lens with aperture ring attached without locking aperture at highest f/-number. • Non-CPU lens is attached: rotate camera mode dial to M. • Mode dial rotated to S after shutter speed of bulb selected in mode M: choose new shutter speed • P, S, A, and M modes: lower ?¬? ash. • Digital Vari-Program modes: turn ?¬? ash o?¬? Turn long exposure noise reduction o?¬? Turn long exposure noise reduction o?¬? Press multi selector up or down or rotate sub-command dial to choose photo information displayed Select All for Playback folder. Lens error 12 & 25 at first, now the unit won't power on unless it's set to playback mode

I posted very closely related troubleshooting steps to take in order to prevent your CAM from performing badly. Check your CAM batteries to ensure they are using only approved NIKON batteries as anything else will cause you lots of errors and potential problems. When you using the timer or remote options, remember these are controlled by battery as well, radio frequency, and radio wave lengths. When you press the button to take a photo, inspect the button, press firmly for a second and release. If your button is not performing the way it should, inspect it to see if any wear and tear is visible to you. Check free deprey around the button such as DUST, HAIR BUILDUP, and small particals that are hardly visible to the human eye. With very low velocity pressure air, blow around the shoot button as build up will cause the same error your experiencing.

The card is not locked.The other message is Memory card error. I have tried two cards they both get the same message, but when I put in the one that came with the camera a 16mg card , it works fine

Error code with a beeping-- reading 172 flashes


Call Kidde during business hours at the following number. I took the next paragraph off their website.
"The next time your carbon monoxide alarm has ERR on the display, push and hold the Peak Level button.You will see an E and an O followed by a number.Contact our hotline at 1-800-880-6788 and provide us the error code, along with the model number, assembly number and date of manufacture from the back of your unit.If your unit is under warranty, a replacement will be mailed to you."

Hello sir; This error code is indicate video process error, may be can be reset, the procedure as follow;
press "clear mode", "107", then press and hold down "clear/stop" key for about 3 sec., until SP menu display, touch "copier sp" on screen, enter 581002 then press 1, then turn power off and back on. see what's happen. good luck !

You'll need a tech on site for this one, but it may be difficult to source parts if required for this old box. One of the following situations has occured:

• Poor connection of CCD
harness
• Dirty optics
• Defective lamp regulator
• Defective main scanner IPU board
• Defective CCD

From OKI error list:

Error 172 - Upper Heater Temp State: High
Heat Roller Thermistor indicates high temp

Solution:
Turn off printer, let cool down.
If problem still exists seek service
