Hello crd.... Adjustment is needed. Remove rear covers and using a 9/16 wrench lossen the four bolts that secure treadle assembly to base. Place a 3/4 inch piece of plywood or a 3/8 inch socket extension in between the treadles in the front area. with that in place center them about an 1/8 in closer to the right upright as when you tighten the four bolt up the drive belt will place additional pressure and they should center perfect. tighten bolts...tight. remove wedge from between treadles and recalibrate unit. replace covers and enjoy. Use turtle wax on area rubbed to prevent rust.

This is a common problem with this Bowlfex TreadClimber.When it gets old the belt also get very old and gets over stretched.This results in sound.Call bowflex directly and ask Call (800) 667-1689. They probably have service centers located near you.Ask them for new belt and if you have warranty you can claim it.
