Lag in Chefville

OMG all of you are WRONG, it is ZYNGA. NOT the dudes system (eyeroll) YES ZYNGA lags on CHEFVILLE whenever you request anything. NOT posting but, requesting. I bought my computer brand new, a samsung, from the box Windows 8 and 64 bit, and it STILL lags when sending requests through CHEFVILLE, from the minute I ran the game and it does it through the library computers, and my friends laptops. So really your "helpful advice" is a bunch of hogwash!

Why is my computer still lagging even after I close the game

Sounds like there is some process being run that is eating up a lot of your RAM. One thing to check is that you are using a 64-bit install of windows if you are using 32-bit it won't matter that you have 6gb as you can only use 3gb with it. It could be that you are running 32-bit and 7 is taking up about a gb of RAM while the games (even when closing) take up 2gb or so. So you could be maxing your 3gb on 32-bit.

Display driver crash when playing sims 3

Hello, there are many reasons for a computer to lag and crash. But most probably is because the cpu could be working at 100%. If the cpu is working at 100%, you need to find out if it's Windows, or some kind of malware.
Please, search for "My cpu is working at 100%" and some instructions on how to identify the problem should be display.

Lag lag

Have you tried to review the systems requirements for Windows 7? In case you don't, try to review this system requirements and see if your PC falls in. If not, then its the primary cause of the "lag" computer.

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

I have a a215 s7422. When playing games, the computer lags, skips, or just locks up. I've looked for upgrades, downloads, and solutions (on and off the web). Any ideas??? I've had multiple other problems, but...

there could be programs running in the background that are taking up alot memory and that would cause the laptop to lag, skip, etc while playing games.

Not sure of the OS your running but click on either the start button or the windows icon in the bottom left hand corner, and then either in the black space type in msconfig or click on run then in that box type in msconfig. Click on OK and then it will come up with a box in the middle of the screen. Click on the startup tab and every box that has a checkmark in it represents a program that is running in the background when you turn on the laptop.

For now click on the button that says disable all and reboot the laptop. Now play games and see if the lag, skipping stops. If it does then you can go back into msconfig and click on the boxes of the programs that you want have running when you bootup your computer. Maybe make sure if you have an antivirus program you want that running and anything having to do with the printer. This will free up memory and should allow your laptop to run much smoother.

My Dell Dimensio 2400 keeps on hangin up when surfing theinternet

Sounds like your computer is lagging while surfing. Really nothing you can do to completely fix it. The older the PC gets and the more advance the www gets there is going to be problems. Reason why, is because no matter how good your internet connection is or how fast that does not matt because if the computer can't support it then its gonna lag and freeze up well surfing. But, the first thing I would do is open up internet explore and click on tools and internet options. Clean out the cookies, temp files and everything that you can on that window. Second run a disk clean up, which is in your start menu, apps and system tools. Let that run and then make sure all little boxes are checked in the window and click clean/ok. That will clean out alot f things that could be slowing the PC down and making it lag. If its still doing what you have explained then I would run a registry cleaner. Can find one online. If all that fails, then I'm sorry but you will need to do some upgrading to your PC. Well good luck.

Vista inspirat

i believe because you don;t have enough memory

i have used vista inspirat before

i got rid of it because it was making my computer lag a lot too.

just get rid of it and don't "switch to your windows xp style".

then you can keep the vista taskbar w00t

thats all i wanted in the first place so now i have what i want and no lag

try that
i also added more memory to my computer AFTER i lost the lag

so don't think you have to put more memory in your computer
