Question about Kohler Cimarron Comfort Height elongated 1.6 gpf toilet with Class Six tech

1 Answer

When I try to flush the toilet, the handle barely moves and when I look inside to see what the problem is, the silver arm moves only slightly and it does not lift the black cylinder.

You just need to adjust the chain attached to the silver part. Just unhook it and go up maybe 3 links on the chain. This will help it lift up higher when you go to flush it.

Why won't my jacuzzi toilet flush

You just check the chain inside the water closet where the one end is connected into the flush handle, and the other end is connected to the flush valve (it is the rubber cap which is covering the outlet of the water passing into the toilet bowl itsef)..most common problem is the chain is cut,or sometimes it is just need to udjust shorter thats why it can tug the flush valve when you pull the flush handle.

Flapper valve closes too quickly

Fill the breather hole (1/8" hole) inside the flapper. This is designed to let air out so the flapper will sink. Now it floats longer letting in more water. 25%percent more in my case.

THE FLUSHING HANDLE INSIDE THE TANK HAS A METAL PIECE ON IT--DUMB MOVE IT GETS RUSTY.CAN YOU TELL ME WHY IT'S METAL .OTHER WIEGHTS WILL WORK BETTER.

Hi
You are 100% right, the metal flush arms tend to rust, sometimes in two ! They are stronger than plastic, and that is why they make them, but there are plenty of plastic, aftermarket replacement flush arms you can buy that work just fine.

One of our EcoQuantum toilets really doesn't flush. It flushes part way, but only pushing the handle down; it does nothing pushing the handle up. We have to flush several times to get it to work. What do...

Hello

Im Rossouw. qwalifide plumber

Ur problem most likely is ur arm conected to your flush handel.
If the arm is iron, try bending it down so that when u use the handel it has more leverage tolift up ur sistern flush rubber and create a flow facume as we call it.

if its plastick.... u must ajust the hight of ur flush meganisem by turning the head were the arm is conected left and pushing it down and turning it right to fasen it again. this will also work for iron arm bt is un nessesery for iron arm.

ajust hight until problem is solved.

Please rate my advice thanx :]

Toto toilet will not flush. Arm does not move inside.

You need to hook up the drain mechanism or (flapper chain, if it is hooked up you need to shorten it so when you flush it lifts the flap.

I have a Eljer 150-403 and the toliet will not flush, although the handle is able to be moved down

Hi,

Remove the tank lid and set it aside. Inside, you should see where tha handle passes into the tank. There should be an arm running along the inside of the tank that raises when the handle is pushed down. Attached to the end of the arm is a chain that goes down into the water and attaches to the flapper valve. Now that you have identified all of these parts, push down on the toilet flush valve, and you should be able to identify where the toilet is broken. It is most likely he flapper or the chain.
Shut the water off behind the toilet, at the wall. Slowly stick your hand into the tank, and raise the flapper. (Don't worry, this is clean water).
Let the water drain through the toilet, and make your repair. All oarts necessary are available at any hardware store. Take your old part with you.
Best regards, --W/D--

Plastic under flush handle stripped.

If the threads are not stripped on the nut or handle it should be fine. IMPORTANT TO KNOW!!! These are left handed threads, Meaning they tighten up the opposite way of a normal nut and bolt. If the threads are bad or damaged, you will have to purchase a new flush handle. They are not expensive at all. $2 - $10 Dollars. But first try screwing the nut on by turning it to the left instead of the right.
