Question about Fuji Cameras
There are several things that may cause this. If the previous pictures were downloaded to a computer it will require being formatted in the camera. The memory card is full and can not write any more pictures to the memory card. You may have just purchase a new memory card and it needs formatting before using in your camera. You may have purchase a new memory card that is a higher capacity then what your camera firmware is capable of writing too.
For example my S2 Pro worked great with a 1gig card but on a few shoots I needed to change memory cards so I purchase an 8gig and it didn't work. What I needed to do was go onto the Fuji site and download an updated version on the camera firmware which allowed me to use a 4gig memory card. I have more then one camera so the 8gig was used in another "newer" camera.
Hope one of these is the solution and you can get back to taking pictures
