Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Hi, I've been bought the HP Photosmart Plus all in one printer. Product number is CN216B and the model number is B210a. I had just plugged it in and was going through the setup process when an error flashed on the screen saying:- !Printer Failure 0x61011beb There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on again. If the problem persists, refer to printer documentation. I have done this several times. I have also followed HP's advice and taken out the print cartridges and taken out the printhead. I have cleaned these things as they have suggested but nothing has worked. Do you have any ideas on what could be wrong? Is the product faulty? I have owned it for about 2hours, so I am certainly within warranty. Thanks for your help Edward Muir

Either return it for exchange or have the place where you purchased it show you what you are doing wrong, if they can.

B210a printer


Hi, it prints ok for a short while 2-3 pages then no black print the vent hole of the cartridge is plugged. You may have filled cartridge and forgot to take tape off the vent hole. Hope this helps this drove me crazy for a long time.

When printing with new ink cartridges the colors seem to line with different striped colors other than what is on the screen.


You may need to perform a align cartridges if you still face the same problem then you might need to do head clean by putting the cartridge heads in warm water for like 5 minuts and then put them back hopefully this shall solve your problem.

HP Photosmart B210a doesn't support manual duplex printing

It is terrible that HP can release a product with such a useless print driver.
