The code depends on the company of the mobile......for Reliance it is - 000,for other mobiles it may be 12345, should go to the mobile shops and tell them to unlock the code........after that or put your old sim....and got to mobile settings>security......there will be lock code settings there....disable them all and you may not face the problem.....and even ask the code once from the mobile repairer from the mobile shop......I HOPE THIS MAY HELP.....:-)

I dont live with my mom who pays for the account and was trying to set security when puk came up. i didnt know it it locked my phone.

can u B more specific about u'r problem.
1st thought, if u'r simcard block & want u 2 key in the PUK no.
u can call the telco help-line operator which telco that provide u'r simcard & ask for PUK no.
only the telco provider can give the code 2 u.
other that, the code is written at the back of the simcard holder.
2nd thought, u'r fon is asking for security code.
u can format the fon using cable & other equipment that might suitable(software)
according to what brand or model of the fon.
I hope u satisfy with my solution

My aircel phone got locked and asked 4 a PUK code. I tried random numbers, and after a while all my phone says is Simcard Error. How do I fix it? Di I have to get a new simcard?

PUK code and PIN Code:

Please dont try more than 3 times. If you try more than 3 times the Sim will get locked. And it will ask for PIN code. Both these PUK and PIN code can be given only by the network service provider. Please call the network service provider of your mobile. And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask you some basic details like name, date of birth for his verification. And he will provide you the PUK and PIN code. This is done for free of cost.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

My phone is asking for a PUK code and i do not know what it is. i have a att lg vu

Hi, when you have a simcard it has a password to unlock it, which you made. If you fail to correctly enter your password three times. The phone will stay locked, till you enter a second code which you get with your simcard, that is called the PUK code. It is meant to be an extra safety system, so no one can try the wrong simcard lock code for more then three wrong attempts. Call your provider of the simcard. They can give you a puck code if you lost it I think. So remember to be careful when entering your simlock code.

I forgot my phone lock for my Samsung Blast. Everytime I turn my phone on, it ask for a phone lock, and I don't remember it. What can I do to unlock it without calling T-Mobile. Everytime I call, they dont...

Just type this code even without simcard *2767*3855# to restore it into default settings or phone lock code which is 00000000.Be sure you have a full battery before doing this.

I don't know the puk code for this phone and I want to change it.

The phone doesn't have a puk code, every simcard has its own puk code.

if you have entered the puk code wrong too many times, you can't enter it anymore, time to call your service provider for instructions or possibly replacement sim card. I've explained more on this page

if you insert a new sim card to the phone it wont ask for puk code, as its only the simcard that gets locked after 3 wrong pin codes.
