Question about HP Compaq nc6230 Notebook
If you can boot into safe mode... press F10 on boot. go to the security options and make sure that the smart card reader is DISABLED! if that dosnt work. which mine dosnt. for some reason. must be a lose connection. try applying considerable pressure around the M key then without moving the laptop... power on. it takes a couple tries but it works for me.

Open slat and re insert the sim card .also check your setting

you need to push and hold control, alt, and delete to initialize the start up.
at this time it will ask you for your username and password.

SOURCE: insert smart card into reader
this massage is shown only when you remove the card before closing the program,insert the card copy some file close the program properly and this massage should vanish.
