The amp appears to be in protect mode. The most common reason for an amp to go into or remain in protect mode is shorted output transistors. To eliminate other possible causes, read through the following page. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The green light and protection light on my 1100d constantly blink and the interior lights in my car blink in sequence with the lights on the amp and I get no sound out of the amp and sub setup. What could...

Sounds like you have an issue with the amp, the install, or possible blown subs.. check, test and if all else fails get the amp serviced or get a new amp.
A good car audio shop can also help you check it over.

yes you have a internal fault of the amp. the circuit that puts it into safe mode is bad and that is a very small chip on the board know as a op amp. needs to be repaired.

Amp won't turn on, red light on amp is flashing

DID THIS JUST HAPPEN ALL AT ONCE ? OR DID IT GRADUALLY HAPPEN? CHECK GROUND FROM AMP , INSTALL ONE FARAD CAP . STOCK RADIO ISNT REALLY HELPING , MOST AMPS OF TODAY TAKE A HIGHER SIGNAL FROM HEAD UNIT . ADD ONE FARAD CAP AND SEE

What does it mean when the power light blinks on the amp?

genrally kenwood amps are power hungry amps so after playing for a while if it doesnt get the amount of amperage to make it work it will shut down cus you car cant charge the battery long enough for the use of that amp so my idea is try a farad capacitor and see if that helps good luck .......tk

200 watt bridgeable power amp

Check the continuity of the speaker line AT THE AMP. Make sure its not shorted. Also hit up a local audio shop for what is known as a "Z" meter to measure impedance of your speakers and configuration. make sure it is within the spec of the amp. Most nice new amps will check the line before they start to crank out the juice. Start there. Then consult the manufacturer to see if there is any meaning to the particular sequence of blinks to the lights.  Amps are fairly simple devices. the only intelligence they really put in them nowadays is circuity to make sure it wont commit suicide. It checks proper power feeds, clipping of the input and speaker output impedance along with temperature before it will try and crank out tunes.
