Most of these TV's were designed to primarily be programed with the remote control. If you don't have the remote that came with the TV you will need a good quality universal remote. I had the sdame trouble with a couple of different brands and models. Use of the remote was the key each and every time.

After doing a little research, it looke like the front panel lock , can only be removed from the parental control menu using your remote. If your universal remote does not get you into the menu, see if you can borrow a friends rca remote long enough to get you into your menu & remove the fpa.

YES YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE CHANNEL UP AND VOLUME UP TOGETHER OR THE CHANNEL DOWN AND VOLUME TOGETHER.THEN THE MENU WILL APPEAR AND DO WHAT YOU WANT TO AFTER,GOOD LUCK

the tv's that dont have a menu button on the front will usually switch to menu by pressing either both chanell buttons at once or by pressing both volume buttons at once if this dont work let me know.
