Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
You may have ink on the Rollers that pick up the paper, also extra ink on the print head itself may be leaving behind some marks.
Depending on the model of the printer this may work.
Turn the printer on, when the cartridges move to the center quickly unplug the power. Remove the cartridges and look to were the cartridges normally "rest". clean this area by placing some tissue paper in this section for about 5 mins. There is a sponge under the cartridges "bed" and if it is over-saturated it will pool up on the print head, the tissue will adsorb some ink from this sponge.
Also to clean the print head try this method, Simply fill a saucer with approx 2mm of just boiled water and place the print head in the saucer with the head in the water. this will dissolve any excess ink from the print head and also help clear any blockages!!
I hope this helps, if so please rate my response. Thank You for supporting the Fix-Ya Community
