Can find the stations on the radio but can not keep them on there after the radio has gone from standby

Hi,
You need to "store" the stations when you find them by depressing and holding down a channel preset button to store. If they do not stay stored after turning off the radio or the ignition, then the memory wire(yellow wire) may not be connected, or the fuse blown. It should be connected to power that never disconnects... that is straight to the battery. Check ot out and get back to me if you need more assistance.

IF this aftermarket fitted then the ignition live and permanent live feed to the stereo are configured round the the other way on the head unit.i think it may be the red wire and yellow wire need swapping.

On my vrcd500-sdu the radio stations won't stay stored once the car/radio is turned off...what do I do so they stay stored?

If the car is a peugeot, renault, vw, audi, fiat. Chances are the lives just need to be swapped into the radio. Lives on a radio are red and yellow. on some makes of cars these are the opposite way round. so join yellow to red and red to yellow. this will solve the memory storage problem.

AM radio station work, FM radion stations don't

If the car is from japan the radio if a factory or aftermarket *** radio will start at about 76 and go to 89 it will need a band expander which "shrinks" the frequncey to work on the *** radio

You may have to manually set the preset stations on the unit itself. Read the user manual.

How do I program the radion station?

The device you listed is a 6 cd changer, it does not hold radio stations.

As for the head unit in your car, you can try tuning in the station and then pressing and holding the location number you want to save it to (1-6).

That works for most of them.

You can add the model name and number to this question if that doesnt work.

Best of Luck.
