My computer is telling me that my flash player is already installed but i still cant watch anything on my youtube

Uninstall the browser (if its not IE) and then reinstall.

Well Sunkengarden, the videos you are watching on YouTube or any such websites are the Flash Player Applications. That means, the Browser on which you are trying watch the videos, needs Flash Player Application to be installed on your computer. Such traditionally most widely used flash players are Adobe Flash Player and Microsoft Silverlight.

Yes, it requires flash player like adobe flash player to be able to play games, watch movies online, listen to movies and others. Just go to the adobe flash player website http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and click install to install it directly or go to www.youtube.com and he will ask that it needs flash player. Adobe flash download icon will appear or link will appear and just click the download link and it will directly installed it to your computer. That all and your problem it solve. I think the problem is your flash player. Since youtube player uses flash., you need to update you flash player. Get the latest Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

jhoeymonteci you didn't say if you have ever been able to watch youtube. I am going to assume that you have Adobe Flash Player installed. What you need to do is to go to the Adobe site and download and run the Flash Player Uninstaller. Then go to youtube and click on a clip. You will be told you need Adobe Flash Player to view the clip. Download it from the options (be sure to uncheck the toolbar option if you don't want it.) After Adobe downloads and installs you should be able to view flash clips again. You MUST use the uninstall to be able to re-install a working player. Hope this helps
