Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I can't connect my wireless guitar to the console for guitar hero
I had this issue myself today when I borrowed Guitar Hero III and the wireless guitar from a friend. Luckily I decided to scour the internet before I got so pissed that I broke an accessory that isn't mine.
There are TWO buttons that you have to push to connect a new wireless device to your 360 that isn't connecting automatically.
There is a small white button on the face of the 360 just to the right of the controller wire ports. Press and hold this button until the light on your 360 starts to flash. This puts your system into pairing mode. When this happens:
There is a small inconspicuous button on the bottom of the guitar near the strap connection When you press and hold this one you will see the lights around the x-box symbol flash in a circle.
If this does not solve your problem, chance are that you are indeed F*@KED and have to return yet another Microsoft product.

Lol, i had this same prob with a 360 i repaired. When i went to test it out, the guitar would just blink and the xbox wouldn't pick it up. I know the guitar works cause i use it on my own xbox. I found that when putting the 360 back together after repairs, i used the wrong screw in one of the holes near the memory card ports. If you pay attentioin, theres a shorter screw with some wound plastic at the end that goes into the hole just to the right of the m card ports. Just removed the steel screw i had in there and it worked fine. Didn't bother to even put a screw back in.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
