Question about Car Audio & Video

Own a 2002 f150 harley davidson with factory 6 cd indash. Recently the radio just starts skipping to other radio stations and to other modes, am to fm to cd player. I have changed it out with other same factory type factory radios. No difference. Please help

Hello
If some intereference in the main power supply to the CD device gets any sort of intereference, this type of fault will occur to any car audio systems. Get its supply wired from battery to device with an other pair of wire, and include a suppressor across this supply line, very near to the device as it enters. This must solve your problem. Keep isolated the device fully from the body contact of the vehicle. the is, if the device is a negative ground type, isolate it from the body of the vehicle.OK.

While playing a cd it skips to aux I have to scroll down to cd to keep it playing


Either the "mode" switch on the handlebar is vibrating or there is an issue with the auto detect circuit in the aux section of the radio. Check the bar switch first. If that is good, radio will need to be repaired.
